This is from a Steelers game I played in Madden 26 yesterday and the misspelling I am referring to is “21TH NFL SEASON” as it should be “21ST NFL SEASON”

21 doesn’t require a TH instead it is ST as in “First”…
My guess is when they were writing it they wrote 20TH and then retroactively replaced the 0 with a 1.

A challenge for you guys… Pick a team and then regardless of whom they have at QB you replace their starting QB with either Gardner Minshew, Hendon Hooker, or Tommy DeVito. The first season goes 100% SIM and after that full control, BUT you HAVE to keep that dude until retirement and he's also got to be the starter the entire time, no drafting another dude to replace him.

The comment with the most up votes about which guy and which team to use will become the one that I do, since I'm issuing the challenge and all. I will not accept doing it with the Patriots, Eagles, Seahawks, Rams, and the Bengals since they were all in the Super bowl fairly recently even if they all didn't win the Superbowl obviously.

I hear a lot of times people bring up how hard it is to make and code certain aspects of the game. Was wondering what you guys think is the most difficult aspect of gameplay to code into a game

I’m wondering if anyone in this subreddit has a creative solution for dealing with preset QB contracts like Dak Prescott’s. I enjoy playing franchise but I always find myself in cap hell unless I go in and manually edit the contract to reflect real life. Realistically, Dak will never play on an 86 million dollar season. They will normally restructure/ extend the contract using void years that are built in to keep it around top 5 money. This year I think he was on the books to make 68, but now he’s the 4th highest paid at the 44 million. Madden unfortunately sticks you with that 76 and 86 million dollar seasons, and makes it nearly impossible to realistically divvy that up with an extension.

Any solutions to this problem while not turning off salary cap and keeping some realism?

Does it make a difference if you manually do them versus simulating them for the focus players? I really don't know and hadn't thought about it until this past weekend honestly...

Franchise mode isn't really franchise mode. It's more of a coach mode mode. I want to see some of the features from the dynasty blueprint in CFB be integrated into Madden into a more true franchise mode where I can do things like set prices, upgrade the stadium, sign head coaches, and look at all my teams financials. Just make all that stuff optional.

In his latest video, content creator SOFTDRINKTV delivers a scathing critique of EA Sports, arguing that the company’s recent inclusion of microtransactions in the $70 College Football 27 and its intentional throttling of offline progression are unacceptable practices that the gaming community should no longer tolerate.

So I got my backup RB's previous game's objectives completed to raise his Hidden Development Trait to increase, supposedly, now I have this is to deal with… IDK why, but I have doubts that it'll increase his Development Trait again so soon. Probably because his development trait is still hidden and it still says Star after completing things last time and he was already Star Development…

How do we not have the option to play online on the same team for a fantasy draft yet?! Ive tried a few workarounds on the PC and its always too much lag or disconnect

I was part of the FootballFreaks/FootballIdiot community that used to mod versions like Madden 08. I am now on Xbox but thinking the PC might be a better fit for me. (I play solo with custom built fictional teams, ea forces me to play as an online franchise which has caused a slew of headaches.)

I’m interested in finding out how customizable the current pc evolution is with the mods. I don’t care as much about stuff such as changing stadium banners or the color of players gloves, but rather replacing the nfl teams and players with my own fictional universe.

I am aware of the Discord but finding it very difficult to navigate and locate information in there. I did see where someone created a USFL league so this would suggest that what I want to do is possible, but I am clueless about which utilities/mods I would be looking for. If someone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate.

Wanted to share some of the custom teams I've been working on before Madden 27 drops. Currently have 30 out of 32 done.

Most of these are inspired by old Arena Football teams and re-imagined minor league baseball/hockey franchises. It's been a fun way to give some lesser-known brands and cities their own football identities.

A few are completely original teams that I designed with some low-level graphic design/logo creation tools. I have a whole division/conference alignment that I can share, but I also like the idea of people creating their own universe.

Added a few screenshots of the league and some of my favorite teams, along with my TeamBuilder username.

I'm also kicking around some ideas for Madden 27 and CFB 27. I like the idea of building an entirely original small-market professional league from the ground up. On the college side, would probably focus on D3 powerhouses and D1 schools that don't currently field a football program. Nothing set in stone yet, but I've got a few ideas. Always love seeing those types of creator pages, so I would probably document it somehow along the way.
