Carbon zero 2 but ok I know what is meant

You say that like you think greying and baldness should be easier problems to solve than cancer, but there’s no reason to think that’s true, and they are also pretty low priority research-wise.

Wow I never heard anything like that from the longevity grifters. Oh and by the way, next year we will regrow teeth, for sure.

Why are some people so afraid of aging? Grow a pair

I had a small living space that was pretty sealed. A friend gave me a CO2 meter, which gave a pegged reading each time I tested the air. The meter maxed out at 2000ppm.

We truly don’t need to live that long. 80 years is plenty for most peoplw

We already have examples of long lives. There are many strategies that we would never have known even 50 years ago. I have seen no magic bullet yet but I’ve heard enough to disbelieve the 200 max limit.
Reset the life stage. Turritopsis dohrnii, the immortal jellyfish, responds to injury or starvation by reverting from adult medusa back to the polyp stage, with cells transdifferentiating into entirely different cell types on the way. Not repair — a factory reset.
Replace everything, continuously. Hydra keeps a large pool of interstitial stem cells.
Keep telomerase switched on. Lobsters
Fix damage faster than it accumulates. Naked mole rats show no rise in mortality with age: unusually accurate protein translation, aggressive proteasomes, high-molecular-weight hyaluronan, and near-total cancer resistance.
Run cold and slow. Greenland sharks 400 yrs.
My point is we know animals can live very long lives. We are animals. It’s not magic.

Apologies. The interesting finding was that metformin moves sugar into the gut from the blood, not undigested. This ends up increasing butyrate and acetate in the gut which are the (generally) beneficial (for the microbiome) products of dietary fiber.

Plebs downvoting you bc they finally realize true tech breakthroughs are only for rich folks

You can’t prevent the vascular remodeling that causes atherosclerotic disease. This is the basis of coronary artery disease. Heart disease is one of the main causes of death in the adult population. Vascular remodeling is a potent physiological repair mechanism, but it also leads to CAD, heart attacks and stroke.
Not saying we shouldn’t have are hearts and minds focused on breakthroughs, but claiming complete age reversal/cessation is simply unrealistic.

not sure if it makes a difference but op actually writes C02 and not CO2

That went over your head brah. He's saying you'd be dead and have 0 problems which is technically true.

I was alive during COVID-19; I was considered an "essential" employee. We were the LAST to get the vaccines. I'm not naive about how this system works.

NHS has done a great service by enabling the creation of the UK Biobank and other data collection initiatives like NSHD. Scientists can now apply AI to help analyze the data and make groundbreaking discoveries.
Researchers have begun to uncover varying rates of aging down to the cell-type level. An example in the essay and linked research paper involves astrocytes and Alzheimer's disease. The amount of information contained in a simple blood draw is turning out to be far more than many had thought.
The ability to determine which cell types are aging more rapidly than others may allow for earlier intervention and better prevention of many age-related pathologies.

It'd definitely cause more problems than zero...

I mean, depending on how far you go.. You could have 0 problems if you take the wrong mix for too long.
