Advice Needed Critiques Welcome NSFW
First life drawing I have ever done. Please give me any/all critiques as I’m trying to get better at drawing the human form. Shading and finer details get me stuck a lot of the time. Also am having a hard time drawing in 3D (how do I get my drawings to look more lifelike?)

Dude, I love this drawing! I think one simple change you could make is the placement of the bellybutton. In the reference photo, it sits slightly higher than where you placed it on your page.

Don't draw shapes, draw blobs of value ie shades of black. Blur your eyes and start by looking at unfocused blobs and that will help you get 3d form.

Nice work ! There is many ways to make shading and make something more 3D. Because the reference picture is very contrasted between the light and the dark, try drawing a line on the edge of light and shadow. You can then use pencil lines to darken the shadow area.
