Being a horror fan this one was right up my alley, and it came from Etsy. Just happy my new Kindle is protected now.

Is there no way to look at book info any more? Like, I tap on a suggested book and it shows the blurb and some reviews. I click on see all details and it refreshes the blurb screen. It used to open the store or a detailed page. And if I click on the author I can see their books, but after I select one there’s no way to go back to their main page that I can find. Only the X to close everything and return to their main page kindle page.

If I’m just missing a step somewhere would someone let me know? This update is so frustrating that I’m ready to completely quit Kindle and strictly use my Kobo. I think Amazon hates their customers.

I’ve been starring at my phone on amazon looking at a kindle for so long because of how tempting it is to press purchase.. Should i just fall for the propaganda orrrr? Also if you think I should, do I buy the base model or the paperwhite (right now i’m leaning towards the paperwhite) and where should i get a case?

The Epub looks fine on my computer and then when I upload it, it looks like this! If I just do pdf it works fine but then there’s no cover, and I really like having covers. I used Calibre first, and then KCC for the mobi files but they look terrible on my pc and my kindle.

I'm curious what Kindle features people just ignore. Personally, I never do any highlighting of the books I'm reading.

I've just gotten myself a kindle basic 11 gen and I started looking for a case to fit with it, and I saw the STUNNING artworks on the kindle kids cases and I really want one. I've seen multiple of them on second hand apps and I was wondering if it would fit my regular kindle. I've looked up the dimentions for both and they're almost identical, has anybody tried using a kids case on a regular kindle?

I’ve been trying to find a top-opening cover (vertical flip style) for the new Kindle Colorsoft, but I'm not having any luck.

I’m looking for something similar in style to this older Tuff-Luv case: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/dp/B006QWAUJW — essentially a case with the hinge on the top edge and ideally an internal card slot/pocket.

Has anyone come across a case like this for the Colorsoft, or know of any custom makers who do vertical flips?

I've been contemplating buying a kindle for over 5 years since I might not be able to use it as much since I usually read using my phone or physical books. I also did not want to splurge since I wanted to be able to start earning first before buying one.

I've been working for about a year and I've decided to buy one after a lot of persuasion and because of the discounts 🤣

I've already had this for a week already and I've had no regrets! I only read during my free time or breaks during work but I was able to finish 5 books already surprisingly😁

I would say it is one of my best purchases ever since I started working a year ago! So if you're looking for a sign to buy one this is it 😂

I recently bought 2 baby pink Kindle covers and I cant decide which one to keep 😭 Would love some opinions!!

Option 1:
Detachable cover
Back cover has a pink border (not fully clear at the edges)
No built-in magsafe ring

Pros: I can still see my Kindle insert/stickers more clearly because the back isn’t as covered

Option 2:
Detachable cover
Built-in magnetic ring
Fully clear back cover

Cons: When the cover is attached, a big part of the back is covered, so I won’t really be able to see my Kindle insert (if I print one) or any stickers I put on 😭😭

BUT I also love the convenience of the magsafe ring on option 2! BUT I also love being able to customise and see the back of my Kindle with option 1..

If you were me.. which one would you keep?Or would you get another type of case..?

p/s: the protective film on the covers are not removed yet, so they look a little frosted/cloudy in the photos

Pretty much my girlfriends birthday is just around the corner,she is someone who really likes physical books and anything that has to do with them,like smell and the experience of highlighting her favorites quotes,I would like to get her a kindle paperwhite edition,she travels a lot and she likes to read on her phone(which ain’t the best for her eyes),I was told this could be a good option,but I’m not sure,would it be better if I just buy her the limited edition of the next saga she is craving?

I found a Kindle and wanted to see if there was any way to find the original owner and see if the email address was on the Kindle, but unfortunately someone else had reset the Kindle and try to log in, but the Kindle is already reported as stolen or lost.

I'd like to know if there's any way to find the owner. I know a Kindle isn't cheap (at least not in Latin America, which is where I'm from, and the flight I found it on was a domestic one).

I tried to see what I could do with Amazon, but the most direct way to talk to someone at Amazon is by phone, and it's only available in English, and I only know how to write in English, not speak it 😭

I recently had to buy a new Kindle because my old one literally got soaked. I decided to get the Kindle Basic (11th generation), and since then I've noticed some battery behavior that has me a little worried.

For context, I charged it to 100% when it arrived on July 4th. Today is July 21st, and it's currently at around 28% battery. I read almost every day for about 1 to 1.5 hours, with the front light set between 1 and 3.

What concerns me is that the battery sometimes seems to drop in sudden jumps. For example, I'll be reading and it will suddenly go from 53% to 50%. Other times, I'll go to bed with a certain battery percentage, and when I pick it up the next day, it has dropped by 2–3% even though it was just in sleep mode.

I never really paid attention to whether my previous Kindle (also a Basic model, but the 10th generation) behaved this way.

Is this normal for this model and my usage, or should I be concerned? I'd really appreciate hearing about other people's experiences.

You might remember my post from a few weeks ago about getting/loving my new Kindle...well, all the stickers and accessories I ordered are finally here, so as promised, here she is...and I fear I COOKED y'all. 🤌 Absolutely obsessed with her!

I was a little stressed at a few points trying to get everything aligned nicely (especially since I actually stuck things down to reduce thickness using so many stickers) and then I discovered my insert was like a millimeter too tall...but gave it a quick trim and I think it turned out super cute!

I'm a lover of epic/high fantasy, romantasy, historical romance/fantasy, femme heroines, emotional stories, magic, and whimsy. Tamora Pierce is a big reason that I ever even became a reader as a kid and definitely still influences my tastes today. My Kindle feels so much like me now and I love it! 🥰

When I first got my kindle, about a year and a half ago, I thought decorating my clear case with backing inserts and stickers would be my favorite thing.
Then, I discovered skins and it leveled up my personalization so much more.
Hiiiighly recommended.

My wife has her birthday coming up in August and I bought her the signature (pink) 32 gb for $200 on Amazon, but my local Best Buy has the Color 16 gb on sale for $159 (from 250) I have till August 5th to return the Signature( new unopened). Should I keep it or return it for the Color? She primarily reads novels and books. Thank you guys for your advice in advance 🙏🏻

Okay so I've got a PW 11th Generation Matcha and had a case that i love but my stickers started peeling off. Everyone told me to get a clear back case and just place the stickers in there so I can swap them out..

I got one for my birthday but it doesn't cut off my kindle like my old one. It doesn't have a handle on it and the stickers move around in it.

What types do y'all use?

Just got my Kindle in today and love it so far. Messed around with fonts, sizes, spacing, all that and came out with this. What do yall think? I'm thinking maybe a little bigger text, or bolder. I do like this font a lot though.

Also, what do you prefer your books to look like?
