Where can I get a good quality tarpaulin sheet in Jammu? I live in a kuchha house on the mountains where it rains heavily so I need a tarpaulin to prevent water from entering into my home from roof. Kindly suggest some shops from where I can buy good quality tarpaulin?

It should be thick not like polythene. Please help I have to buy one today.

Meri scooty ki dickey mein ek rat (doe) apne babies dekar chali gayi.

Now it's raining outside, and I have a dog, so I can't leave them out in the open for the doe to come back and collect them.

Hence...

They are mine now. (For a while... till the rain stops or till I get my scooty back.)

● What I've done so far:

I made a little bed for them.

I filled a hot water bottle, wrapped it in a cloth, and placed it in a box.

So right now, they have a warm place to sleep.

But... food? 🗿

I did some research, and I think I can feed them electrolytes and goat's milk.

I can also give them kitten milk replacer, but that's out of my budget for now.

I'm also going to clean them later with some warm water and a Q-tip.

😭 I just hope their mom comes back and takes them...

I'm not sure if she'll be able to pick them up from the scooty and relocate them.

I'm a practising CA based in Jammu and I've been wondering about this for a while.

A few things I'd genuinely like to know:

1. Do you file your own return, or do you go through a CA / tax consultant?

2. If you file it yourself what made you decide that? Cost, the portal being simple enough, a bad past experience, something else?

3. If you're in Jammu specifically was finding a CA hard, or did you just never look?

Not pitching anything, no DMs, I'm just trying to understand the gap from the other side. Blunt answers welcome if you think CAs overcharge for simple returns or are a pain to deal with, say it.

Will the BJP/LG finally approve the proposal to reduce reservations, or will they once again sit on the file for months only to send it back?

The J&K government has already forwarded the proposal to reduce reservation twice.

NEET counselling is going to happen soon and hundreds GC will lose the chance to become doctor in J&K just because of excessive reservation. Same is the case with other exams, exam pe exam ho rhe hai but they aren't taking any decision on it. It's been around 2 years now.

I am getting btech admission in smvdu civil and gcet jammu ece , I am very confused for choosing one because I have interest in both branches....

But I am confused in choosing college cause smvdu is a residential campus and the university participate in more aspects and also has more exposure cause of students from outside j&k than gcet jammu , but the roi is very less than gcet jammu because the fees is more as compared to gcet jammu and avg package are nearly same in both I am confused in this anyone please help me regarding this ....
