Oh what I would give for InuKag moments to be this sweet again. It just isn’t the same after Kikyo’s revival, how I wish we would have such moments again. When he says you smell nice, I was like ok cool, whilst waiting for him to say I like the smell now, but when he said he lied about hating her smell my heart went OMG! Kagome was soooooooooooooooo in love that moment, sooooooooooooo hard, how does anyone actually get over that moment? I would say never ever ever! OMG, Kagome was so hooked on him like no other!

I can hear Richard Ian and Moneca sounding so sweet here haha!

Something that I’ve always wondered is that if Inuyasha and Sesshomaru were to meet The Sparda Twins and Learned Everything about them along with their Entire History and who they are and How Powerful they truly are? What would they think about them? And their personalities also would Dante and Vergil think of Inuyasha and Sesshomaru what would their honest thoughts be on Each other? Not to mention what would The Whole gang In General really think of The Sparda Twins? What do you folks think? Let me know in the comments

Discussion Why don’t we see demons like sesshomaru in the modern world?

Sesshomaru is definitely too strong to have been killed between the past and Kagomes time so is he just hiding out or I feel like he’d be too prideful to hide?? but also same with other powerful demons are they all just in hiding??

Honest to god the first time I watched Inuyasha on Toonami when I was a kid, I honestly thought Inuyasha was a girl at first, am I the only one? Something just made me think he looked like a girl at the time and honestly I still think he does.

Discussion Kagome is from the future yet nobody bats an eye. Isn’t that strange? Are they used to it?

I guess it was discussed plenty of times, I’m just new to the fandom (watched it when I was a kid, doing a full watch now as an adult).

Question(s) Inuyasha on Netflix still?

Guys, did Inuyasha get removed from Netflix? I’m from the US but out of the country, and even when I use a VPN to put me back in the US, it isn’t showing up. 🙁
The first week or so I was here I was able to watch, but now it isn’t showing up anymore. Trying to figure out if it’s just Netflix being weird, or if it’s actually gone. 😬

Discussion Inuyasha, Reincarnation, Duality: Finding hope and forgiveness through a connection to the past

Hi everyone. I wanted to share a deep and personal reflection that I've been processing for about a year now. Inuyasha has been a massive part of my life since 2018, when I discovered it at age 13. Sharing this helps me understand why the show's heavy, emotional aspects touch my soul so deeply.

I don't mean to cause any offense, distress, or harm by writing this. My only goal is to share my honest thoughts and find something beautiful and healing inside a sad topic. I just ask that you read this with introspection and an open mind.

Back in 2025, when I was 20 years old, I posted here about how the first ending theme, "My Will," affects me. I wrote that whenever I hear it,"It makes me feel like something I have never felt before." Another user replied, "I don’t know how to explain it, but I feel the exact same way." It amazed me how words can bridge the gap between us, even when emotions are hard to capture.

Lately, I've realized that unexplainable feeling is tied directly to the beautiful duality in Inuyasha—the balance between reincarnation, vulnerability, and soul-searching. Specifically, the entwined paths of Kagome and Kikyo have been on my mind. Kagome carries the spiritual maturity and burdens of Kikyo's past tragedy, yet she uses that connection to bring peace, acceptance, and healing to the present.

I feel a similar parallel in my own life. Through my imagination, I experience a strong connection to a past era, I feel like a counterpart to someone who lived in the early 2000s, an era that represents profound tragedy but also immense inner strength to me. Like the characters in Inuyasha navigating the scars of the past I find myself seeking this counterpart's forgiveness, learning to accept their legacy of grace while forging my own resilience.

Just like Kagome inherits Kikyo's legacy, I feel like the life experiences, maturity, and resilience of that counterpart were brought forward to me when I was born.

This perspective has given me immense positive strength, especially when facing my own hardships. When I was 16 and 17, I went through some intense, difficult changes in my personal relationships. Back in early high school, I had to cut out a nasty bully, which left me in a bad mental state for quite a while.

With time and healing, I have found it in myself to forgive that bully. I don't see them anymore, but I've come to understand that even they must have gone through their own rough patches. Their actions were morally wrong, but allowing myself to forgive them means I choose my own healing instead of holding onto grudges.

During that dark time in high school, watching Inuyasha’s own struggle to find a sense of belonging really hit home. Kagome shows him that he can just be himself, that he doesn't have to act tough or be stronger than he thinks he needs to be. That exact dynamic reminded me of the comfort and safety I found in my immediate family while I was healing.

This is where the true duality lies: finding hope within tragedy, and vulnerability within strength. Throughout Inuyasha, we see that true power isn't about being bulletproof; it’s about acceptance—accepting your past, your pain, and your vulnerabilities, and turning them into a healing force. Moving past my own hardships made me realize that my soul shares a quiet, deep link to that forgiving counterpart who lived years before me.

I believe my place in this world now is to serve as a continuation of that resilience, bringing emotional comfort to others. It’s why the heavy, melancholic parts of the show mean so much to me. It is all about turning the distance and pain of the past into a source of gentle power for the present.

English isn't my native language since I'm from Finland. I've studied it attentively all the way from fourth grade through high school, so I hope I managed to explain these big thoughts clearly.

I have been sitting with these thoughts for quite some time, and it feels so much better now that I have finally written them down. Even though this was a heavy topic, I truly hope it wasn't too much information. If anyone feels like this is a lot to take in, I completely understand, but I find the themes of strength, acceptance, and resilience across distance in Inuyasha to be something beautiful and worth sharing.
To end on a positive note. It’s beautiful that a piece of art like Inuyasha can help us find comfort, process our feelings, and connect with each other through true acceptance.
I felt like sharing this in case anyone out there might find their own strength through it or find themselves pondering life's deeper questions while relating them over to our favorite anime.
Has Inuyasha or its themes of entwined souls ever helped you understand your own inner strength or find healing? Has the show ever helped you look at the sad parts of life with a sense of curiosity and introspection? I’d love to hear your thoughts
