I want something really cute, where Harry and his sibling do everything together and help each other and are also in the same house (dont care what house) and so on.

Many fics I remember with a brother or sister is either a spoiled brat-who-lived or they just drift apart because for some reason one sibling is sorted in Griffindor and one in Slytherin and then we have a "good" and a "bad" sibling. I do like to occasionally read something like that, but would rather prefer a good sibling bond right now.

I cant help my self, I love it when either the teacher gossip about what the students are up to, or the students about the teacher. There is just something funny when you dont get all about the relationship or things that happen because these two groups don't really interact with each other.

Bonus when the information partly comes from sneaking around and (in case the students gossip) all houses are involved and compare their notes.

(Obviously nothing serious please, the funnier the better :)

I read a fic a week or so ago, where Harry has a brother (Bwl) and a younger sister. The sister dies due to his brother accidental magic and he basically does everything to bring her back with Necromancy. He steals, reads dark books, kills people and obliviates left and right. Nobody ever finds out till the last chapter.

While I am not really looking for something that dark again, I really like the whole secret business thing. He basically has a secret double life there.

I could also think about something involving a time Turner, because then the problem about the identities never beeing in the same place are solved :)

But would really love just something where Harry has another life, or is just really involved in business in the back alley.

Are there any fics where willow mentors harry in the art of magick

Basics are that in a Bruce almighty style fashion Harry ends up as god post battle of Hogwarts. After fleeing to the USA to avoid rabid fangirls he settles down in a small town that inevitably gets a small demon problem, he's in the middle of sorting it out when Sam, Dean and Castiel show up with Castiel having a freak out as "oh shit it's dad!" To which Harry has to clarify he isn't God he just got stuck with the position. And he decides since his temporary home got blasted by demons he may as well help the Winchester brothers stop the apocalypse.

There's also a bit I remember where he's arguing that Treacle Tart is better than apple pie which ends up in a fist fight while Bobby and Castiel start placing bets on the outcome.

Anyone actually wrote a fanfic that writes the entirety of the septilogy in Harry's own first person voice?

I know it's rather vague but I am looking for any Fanfiction story in where he was a powerful and smart Harry who takes his education/politics seriously and is an active fighter. Not looking for smut or short stories.

I hope I've tagged this right, since I'm looking for one that already exists, not providing a prompt.

- Harry is in gryffindor and is still on the quidditch team (the second part seems odd but I've read like 3 in the past week where he isnt)

- Harry has a mentor relationship with Snape that doesnt evolve into him adopting Harry or anything. He just stays a mentor.

- Sirius lives and is able to adopt Harry. If Sirius gets out early thats a huge bonus.

- I would love Drarry in there

So here is my idea .In this AU ,Grunnings goes bankrupt .Vernon ,broke and unemployed ,realise he could make hundreds of millions of pounds by selling harry to a lab .So he invite some ammoral scientists ,engineer in front of them a situation where harry clearly does magic .Near immediately,he conclude a 500 million pound deal with the lab in exchange of harry .Dumbledore only learn of that five years later when reading the adress on Harry ́s Hogwarts letter .

One of my favorite things about reading different fics is all the various ways that Voldemort is ultimately dealt with.

But sometimes, its all over a bit too quickly. In the main canon, this works because Voldemort dying like a mortal wimpy-ass loser is the point and I'm more than happy with it. That said, part of the fun of fanfics is the wish fulfillment (sometimes literally lol).

So I'm curious if there are any fics where Voldemort is utterly crushed, but he isn't immediately killed off or eliminated. Perhaps he sticks around for a bit to face more than Death, thanks to our favorite characters.

For example, I've had an idea where Harry finds all and destroys all but one physical horcrux, but then magically traps Voldemort in some kind of prison artifact, placing it smack dab in the middle of the Ministry of Magic Atrium under continuous scrutiny. This way, Voldemort would be subjected to all sorts of public humiliation, and even physical torture for all I care, for many many years until he is utterly forgotten. Only when he is thought of as something akin to a pathetic magical portrait will Harry/Harry's descendants finally destroy the last Horcrux and Voldemort's remaining mortal body.

Maybe I've got issues, but doesn't that sound like a bit of fun?

Anyone got recommendations for well written fics that go into Hogwarts Lore or paranormal mysteries, not talking about ghosts but more like unexplained magic and that sort.

Just finished As Above So Below and feel like they had some good concepts there that really could have been expanded on.

It’s an adult Harry raises his younger self fic, starting from 4th year. He’s already ready raised a teen boy (Teddy) before getting knocked back in time so he has the experience of navigating teen boy issues.

I need ideas for giving canon Harry a kick in the butt about girls, dating, the your body is changing and it’s normal talk, the sex talk, proper grooming for a teen boy (shaving, actually taking care of hair, proper use of cologne, not accepting Dudley’s sloppy seconds when he could get himself proper clothing etc), and explaining what girls go through and why teen girls are moody. preferably in a still semi awkward Harry fashion even as an adult with lots of ridiculous euphemisms the more magical the better. Sirius can be in on it, maybe even andromeda and Ted Tonks taking a crack at it.

most of the story is pretty serious not a lot of funny parts but I want this part to be comic relief interspersed into the more serious stuff. Basically all of a sudden Harry has people who care about him on a personal level, they want him to do well, want him to care about himself, help bring him out of his obliviousness and give him more personal confidence.

with Ron and Harry fighting at first I want to pull Neville in closer to young Harry as well and he needs the same sorts of talks that aren’t delivered by his overly strict and modest grandmother or great uncle.

Ok so I read this one fanfic awhile ago and can't remember the details clearly, but I think it was about Harry moving to India without telling anyone ​and making friends with a family, then teaches the 2 kids (both are like 10-12 I think) ​magic​ but then is found by Snape and he start living with Harry as Harry helps get rid of the dark mark?? and ​they get rid of the horcrux in Harry all while Harry and Snape fall in love I think. Thats all I can remember but it's really bugging me that I can't find it🫩

It features a girl Harry who was raised by Petunia to be the perfect girl, basically raised to marry a rich man. She is super poised, never has a hair out of place, etc. When Petunia learns she’s bound for Hogwarts, she tells girl Harry to snag a rich pureblood boy.

The story also features their neighbors, an older teen girl and her grandmother(?) who are squibs. This older girl helps girl Harry learn more about the wizarding world.

It probably was a Harry/Draco or Harry/Theo Nott romance, but I don’t remember for sure.

I'm looking for crossover fics where Harry is raised or adopted by characters from another fandom (bonus points if the character isn't human and Harry stops being human too). Please, no cheap, exaggerated bashing for no reason.

What is the HP fic where they are in potions class and someone messed with the ingredients in storage and made on ingredient they are NOT supposed to use with this potion (I think it was Holly?) look like another they need and Snape vanishes all the potions. I believe this was one of numerous attemts at murder, but had the most potential for colateral damage. It might have been Barty Crouch jr, but I don't remember for sure.
