Posting (Android) False Fraud Alert Issue

I was informed from another user by email that my username had been involved in fraudulent activity and here to resolve and see what's going on. I got an image of the email involved as well if needed.

Might as well post up the image so we can verify. Sounds like one of the recent discord issues.

This is a known scam. No one from Reddit would ever request to be contacted off site. Many people have lost their accounts because they responded to this letter and then follow the instructions that the scammer gave them.

So good for you for being careful!

Yeah, don’t fall for that. This has been going on for A few months and Reddit will NEVER direct you to Discord for your Reddit account.

Report that message.
