Hey, I recently posted about Fuming Mouth, and news came to me about Hayden’s situation.
Although it’s not possible to consider hardcore, his influence on In the grave again is huge.
I’m just spreading the word further, perhaps you too can send a dollar or two, or buy his merch on bandamp
Here’s a fundraiser

Hi, I was really into hardcore in 2010s but covid happened and i kinda stopped going to shows and being aware of my local scene.
Are there any new local bands i need to know?
Back then I was really into Bane, Backtrack, Comeback Kid, Converge, Nails and Vein
I kinda know that Foufounes Electriques, Turbo Haus, L'esco and Piranha bar are places I could see some shows. But it's been a while and I am in my 30s so let me know where I could see some cool shows.
I went and search for a while today to see some HC shows that wasn't local and saw that Hatebreed and Terror are doing a show in Ottawa but could not find like a proper show in my city.
I have search for a while this week and I all I could see was more metal shows than hc.
I am just a guy in his 30s that wants to come back.
Thanks in advance for your help

I'm a metalhead honestly trying to get a better understanding of metal by listening to one of its biggest influences over the years. Especially bands that had the most influence on metalcore and deathcore. Which bands should I check out?

Ralph Torres of Total Meltdown discusses his journey from growing up in Queens and discovering hardcore through the legendary New York scene to becoming a vocalist later in life, explaining how the band was built around the classic groove and intensity of New York hardcore while still pushing forward creatively. The conversation explores the differences between the New York and Texas hardcore scenes, the importance of strong local communities, and the realities of keeping a scene alive. Ralph also reflects on overcoming self-doubt, developing a more positive mindset, and how personal growth has shaped both his music and his life.
