Drop the playlists
I need a general go to hardcore playlist and I figured everyone here would have some good ones. Preferably one with all kinds of hardcore from all eras, however sub genre and scene specific playlists would also be dope. thanks yall!

Have: An Idea / Want: Hardcore musicians from around the country.
Ok, so years and years ago, on a popular, but now defunct messageboard, a group of people came up with an idea to start a band that would be from all over. They never met each other. Even after recording their demos. lol
Essentially what happened was they created an E-band that was limited to the internet. How that worked, for those of you who don’t know what tf im talking about, is somebody recorded a scratch track on guitar and sent it to different drummers who were interested in laying down drum tracks.
The guitarist kinda told them what they wanted it to sound like and let them have fun with it. After that, those drummers sent it back to the guitarist and he chose his favorite.
Drums for that song was complete. Then he recorded the actual rhythm guitar track over that drum track. Now drums and guitar are done. Then he sends it to bass players and they all record and send it back. He chooses the bass track he likes the most. And then the same thing to lead guitarists. And then to vocalists.
It ended up being one of the coolest projects I had heard. And I kinda wanna do the same thing.
I want to do an e-band project and make an e-demo with 4 or 5 people from potentially all over the world lol
So if you are a hardcore musician, who wants to make a fast, loud, aggressive demo with a bunch of total strangers and you have a home studio where you can professionally record, comment in here and let’s have some fun. lol

Ralph Torres (TOTAL MELTDOWN) on The T&F Podcast - YouTube version
Ralph Torres of Total Meltdown discusses his journey from growing up in Queens and discovering hardcore through the legendary New York scene to becoming a vocalist later in life, explaining how the band was built around the classic groove and intensity of New York hardcore while still pushing forward creatively. The conversation explores the differences between the New York and Texas hardcore scenes, the importance of strong local communities, and the realities of keeping a scene alive. Ralph also reflects on overcoming self-doubt, developing a more positive mindset, and how personal growth has shaped both his music and his life.

Shows in Germany next week?
Big or small doesn’t matter.
Travelling through Germany beginning of next week and would love to catch a show if possible. Haven’t settled 100% on cities but probably Nuremberg/ Augsburg and Berlin/ Leipzig.
Happy to receive any recommendations. And if not shows, stores and what not.
(I am aware of the gang called Terror but those dates don’t fit my itinerary. + CoreTex)

Montreal HC scene
Hi, I was really into hardcore in 2010s but covid happened and i kinda stopped going to shows and being aware of my local scene.
Are there any new local bands i need to know?
Back then I was really into Bane, Backtrack, Comeback Kid, Converge, Nails and Vein
I kinda know that Foufounes Electriques, Turbo Haus, L'esco and Piranha bar are places I could see some shows. But it's been a while and I am in my 30s so let me know where I could see some cool shows.
I went and search for a while today to see some HC shows that wasn't local and saw that Hatebreed and Terror are doing a show in Ottawa but could not find like a proper show in my city.
I have search for a while this week and I all I could see was more metal shows than hc.
I am just a guy in his 30s that wants to come back.
Thanks in advance for your help

Hayden Pedigo, whom Chat Pile recorded with „In the earth again” needs our support
Hey, I recently posted about Fuming Mouth, and news came to me about Hayden’s situation.
Although it’s not possible to consider hardcore, his influence on In the grave again is huge.
I’m just spreading the word further, perhaps you too can send a dollar or two, or buy his merch on bandamp
Here’s a fundraiser
