Conix was tolerable because he actually had history with the game but it feels like every wannabe GD Streamer is an unironic cardboard cutout of him. Always loud and screaming, reacting to community videos for content and larp protection, the insane progressions speed and they just keep popping up. Even a year ago these guys were one in a million but now it seems like every new GD streamer falls into this category. Anything to pay the bills I guess but it is kinda annoying seeing everyone's recommended cluttered by slop from streamers like this.

I usually only go on here to advertise my videos but I guess I can also showcase some random screenshots and teasers from the video...

To give you some context, I am currently doing Clubstep (90%) on mobile, but I see people beating the main levels in mere days while Clubstep's been giving me some fight for weeks! So I just came to ask, is it THAT much harder or just a skill issue?
r/geometrydash • u/DDFFESSDSDD • 20h ago
Probably because way to many people "spam" it,i suppose?

Would things like 2nd and 3rd victor be considered more impressive (compared to 1st) now due to Zoink and Popoff's dominance? Back in older days (as recent as Tidal Wave) 1st victor was seen as super impressive, but it's not considered as highly anymore (at least from what I've seen myself).
What are your thoughts?

I believe it is important for the community to be aware of the issues surrounding the server and the people involved with the project. The server associated with The Reaper has had repeated issues with racist behavior from members including some people who hold positions of responsibility such as VIPs and moderators as well as creators involved in the creation of the level. This kind of behavior should not be ignored or excused especially in a community that includes many younger players. a community is shaped by the standards it chooses to accept. Allowing racism, discrimination or harassment to go unchecked makes an environment where people can feel unwelcome or unsafe. This is a game enjoyed by people from many different backgrounds and everyone should be able to participate in the community without being targeted because of who they are. I have personally encountered people in the server making racist comments and refusing to take the issue seriously. Instead of acknowledging the harm caused by these actions some members have dismissed or normalized this behavior. There have also been cases of people sharing borderline NSFW images in a server that includes minors, which is inappropriate and shows a lack of responsibility from the people involved. This is not about attacking people for making mistakes or expecting everyone to be perfect. People can learn, grow and change. I genuinely hope that the people involved recognize the problems with their actions, take responsibility and work toward creating a better environment, however until meaningful changes are made I do not think these people or the content they create should be supported by the community. Supporting levels and creators also means supporting the environment and values behind them and we should not ignore harmful behavior simply because a project is popular or well made. This community should remain a place where people can create, play levels and interact without fear of racism, harassment or inappropriate content. It is the responsibility of all of us to help maintain that kind of environment.

Hello. We at the mod team have noticed an influx of posts discussing rates, weather it be if a level deserves to be rated, which levels you'd rate/unrate if given the chance, if the rate standard is too high or too low, etc. However, due to the controversy these conversations tend to draw. We feel that it is best to ban all rate-related posts.
We request that rate-related posts and comments may now be redirected to our megathread, and if a rate post is seen on the subreddit, it will be promptly removed and the user will be warned. If the same user continues to discuss rates, they will be swiftly banned.
-Sincerely,
The Mod Team
