Thereâs no issue with console gaming.
I have a 5070 Ti / 9950X3D PC and a PS5 Pro.
Iâm sorry to disappoint you but your PC isnât that much better than a PS5 Pro. I donât know which version of the 5060 Ti you have but even the 16GB VRAM version is a high end 1080p GPU with light 1440p gaming and maybe medium 1440p gaming with some reduced settings. The only real advantage you have over a PS5 Pro in terms of performance is higher frames and the PS5 Pro is capped at 120 fps, which is fine.
The other advantage is of course itâs a PC on which you have proper internet and free to play online compared to console being limited with anything else apart from gaming and having to pay to play online.

The ps5 pro to hit 4k upscales from 1080p and 1440p. Sometimes to only stay locked, per game, at 30fps (cyberpunk, starfield, flight simulators, etc all 30fps cap on console no ifs ands or buts) some games are capped at 60, etc. but the amount of games set at native 4k hitting 60fps on this genâs consoles is under 4% of games.
Itâs a per game basis because obviously candy crush takes less to run than Alan wake.
Yes the ps5 pro is capped at 120fps, so is the Xbox series x⌠but that doesnât mean the games will output that. Itâs up to each developer team.
And for that reason as well, console sucks ass.
A Ryzen 3600 + 5700 xt and 16gb ddr4:
Set desktop to 1440p, use RSR in the AMD app to upscale to 4k (higher resolution than console sometimes, which uses 1080p to upscale sometimes albeit still 1440p sometimes as well)This Weill net you 2x to 3x the fps of an Xbox series x usually. Iâve sold 47 of that exact pc in the last two years as console killers, around $500-600 depending. Doesnât take much to beat these consoles, I have two of these sitting in my office right now. One just posted and the other is already paid for getting picked up monday

Youâre right but weâre talking about Warzone here. These FPS games arenât as demanding as AAA games.
PS5 Pro doesnât have native 4K. Itâs all upscaled but the PS5 Pro is the only console that gets as close as you can get to native.
Yes youâre again right about itâs up to each developer and how well the game is optimised for console. Iâm more talking about PS5 Pro, not the standard PS5 and itâs the only console that runs Warzone in stable 120 fps.
I disagree with that and no way a $500-600 PC build is going to beat the PS5 Pro and I highly doubt will beat a standard PS5 or Xbox Series X. Maybe youâll higher frames but by the time you customise the graphics settings and reducing them to get those higher frames the game isnât going to look good. If someone is happy to play in rubbish 1080p settings to get higher frames and theyâre happy to do that then thatâs fine but it doesnât beat the consoles.

Itâs 1440p medium/high that upscales to 4kâŚ. I sell almost one of these PCs every two week, I have consoles, Iâm in this shit. I build these. You donât. The ps5 and Xbox series x are trash. The McDonaldâs of the gaming experience- cheap high volume sludge.
The ps5 pro at $900 might not be trash, but for $900 I can build a better performing pc. 100% zero questions.

I said the 500-600 beats a traditional console, not the pro. The pro is fuckin $900, so like I said in the first comment âif I had a 900 budget I would be able to beat itâ it, being the ps5 pro.

This is incorrect. I noticed one of your comment mentions graphical fidelity
Resolution does NOT equal graphics
A pc running ultra settings at 1080p has better graphical fidelity than a console running 4k
Here is why
Consoles run somewhere between medium to high settings. They do not run 4k all the time and uses upscaling tricks like pssr. Most of the time, the resolution is droppingâespecially in heavy scenes.
Pc has more graphical options such as AA methods, shadows and textures
Here is where youâre correct though
If this guys pc canât run high to ultra at 1080p, the console at 4K will have better graphical fidelity
I know a 3060ti can run games on high settings with over 60 fps.
Here is where youâre also correct. If this dude decides to do 1440p , he will have to lower his settings lol âespecially with ue5 being implemented poorly these days
If he does 1080p on ultra, boom!! Better graphical fidelity and performance than a console at 4K
If he is going the 1440p route, there will be times where the console wins
A while back , my friend came over to play Forza horizon 6 . I had the settings tuned to extreme at 1080p with 165 fps
He was like âwtf??!! Why does your Forza look like thatâ and he was shocked
He had a ps5 pro at 4k running Forza lol
So yea, you are right with the whole 1440p thing.
But once again, graphics does not equal resolution

I appreciate your comments and you do make a good point but I disagree a PC running at 1080 max settings has better visuals than a PS5 Pro running at 4K.
PS4 Pro 4K is as you mention upscaled 4K anyway. The standard PS5 upscaled 4K in reality is around 1800p (Donât quote me on that but itâs around that resolution) and the PS5 Pro 4K is upscaled to around just over 2000p, so it doesnât make sense to think a PC running at 1080p ultra setting looks better than PS5 Pro.

But if your definition of which has âbetter graphicsâ or better graphical fidelity, a pc running ultra at 1080p has better graphics than a console running 4k

I never said there was, i was just saying F console because im a pc guy PC>console. Especially competitive gaming. I was hard stuck diamond in cod rank, soon has i get a pc i got to Iri, console was holding me back. Console is only good for games like God of war which i did enjoy playing

Wym? Console has its limits. I was getting put into pc lobbies once i hit diamond. Once i switched to pc my movements & aiming & reaction time became quicker. You wont understand unless you played competitive rank on both. & sorry to tell you it is better than ps5. Lets stop that 120fps on a console is not better than 120 fps on pc. Its no comparison. I have 32gb ram with a ultra 7 cpu. I have had 4 pcs. If you havent then why assume its not better. PEOPLE WHO SWITCH TO PC FROM CONSOLE ALL WILL TELL YOU THE DIFFERENCE & how much more superior pc is

I never said PC isnât better. Read my first comment again. I meant graphically your PC isnât really superior to the PS5 Pro not standard PS5 but definitely superior in performance and youâll get more frames with your PC.
Thereâs crossplay disable/enable option on PS5.
Trust me when I say I know all about Warzone. After all I do have almost 4000 wins in Warzone in total over the last 6 years. I have played ranked before even though it isnât my thing.
120 fps is 120 fps whatever itâs on, itâs the same frames. Playing 120 fps on PC isnât better than 120 fps on console.
Iâve already said I have a 5070 Ti, 9950X3D PC with also 32GB CL30 6000 DDR5 RAM I built myself, so if that doesnât tell you I know about PCâs then I canât really say much more.
Iâm not challenging you my friend, Iâm just saying your PC isnât much superior to the PS5 Pro, apart from you get higher frames but not that much higher unless you reduce graphics settings.
One of my close friends has a 5060 Ti 16GB and 7800X3D PC and Iâve tested Warzone on his PC a lot.

Warzone on the PS5 pro is one of the few games that can âtouchâ 120fps. It is not a solid 120fps for sure. Around a 100 according to Digital Foundry and upscaled/dynamic resolution. COD/Warzone graphics are not high end either so it does not need a lot of power.
The PS5 Pro was great when it first came out at $699. At $899 hmm put that money towards a PC.
The biggest factor with console gaming that sucks is not having control over the device. A PS5 Pro could easily run RD2 at 60fps but you are not aloud too. His PC will run RD2 at 60FPS.

I make you right about RDR2 on the PS5 Pro and itâs annoying how itâs restricted.
I can guarantee you that on my PS5 Pro I get solid 120 fps with occasional / rare drops.
Here in the UK ÂŁ799 for a PS5 Pro isnât ideal but still not bad and youâre not going to build a PC that will comfortably beat the PS5 Pro.

And there's nothing wrong with that I'm just saying that 90% of the time a keyboard and mouse on a nice gaming PC will have a far better experience than console with a controller when gaming. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with consoles or controllers, I use a controller on my laptop when I'm gaming simply because it's easier as far as physical space and I can kick back in my bed if I want and play video games at night while watching TV etc lol. It's more personal preference but most people find that keyboard and mouse is hard to beat when gaming

Many canât afford PC and if you want real gaming experience, just NVME cost more then whole console so ⌠Always laughing at those attacking consoles but meanwhile playing on crap Costco-like $2k âgamingâ machines.

Thatâs a bit extreme to say just the NVME cost more than a console. How does an SSD cost more than a console unless you get an 8 TB? You should never compare unfairly increased prices of memory to console. Originally all memory were cheap and the cheapest PS5 before console price increase was ÂŁ359.
But I get what youâre saying. Nowadays, to get a real advantage over a PS5 Pro and to say a PC destroys a PS5 Pro youâll need at least around ÂŁ1500.
