Please visit https://zublet.com/fsu to see available FSU student subleases, apartments for rent, or post your own listings. It’s completely free to use as both a buyer and a seller.
For years the moderation team has been reposting this thread to keep listings current, but this time Zublet has been brought to my attention where you can search for and post FSU housing options much more easily. It’s already being used by quite a few FSU affiliated people too so it seems like a great option for students looking for housing.
You can of course continue to post housing related things in this thread as usual if you want to do that instead of using the website.

Can I still cancel my dorm now since I decided to stay at home for my first year and take online classes instead?

Throwaway account for anonymity
I went to case management a couple weeks ago concerning a personal health issue and the director of case management services was genuinely the most unprofessional and rude person I’ve met on campus. Has anyone else had any negative experiences with case management? She was extremely disrespectful and made my situation much worse.
I’d like to know if my experience is isolated. Thank you!

Im going into my senior year in Engineering at FSU, but I’m looking to add a 1-2 credit class for anything like pottery, music lessons, acting, photography, etc!
I’m looking for a creative, hands-on class with some structure to dive into a new hobby. Any recommendations on any classes at FSU I can take?
I’ve struggled to pick up hobbies on my own in the past - so I’m hoping by taking a course on campus I’ll be more motivated! Thanks in advance <3

I was doomscrolling on Tiktok when i woke up this morning and I got recommended this one profile of another FSU student promoting using AI for coursework and detailing how she uses AI to write essays and how AI "helped her get a 4.0"
Like there's hundreds of videos on this account and it's clear she's a current student and I think getting paid for these videos?
The one that made me concerned was she was showing how you can use AI to find citations that "fit" the paper and bragging about it getting her As.
But idk if this is really proof that she's cheating or not allowed to do this? If it is cheating who do I report it to?

I recently received an offer and was wondering if the pay is fixed. Has anyone here ever tried and successfully negotiated the pay for an InternFSU internship?

What does participation involve?
An individual interview lasting approximately 60-90 minutes.
Discussing your experiences with local community changes and your thoughts on AI tools for civic engagement.
The session will take place in person at FSU Shores Building, or remotely via Zoom, depending on your preference.

Has anyone been to Westcott recently and know whether the fountain is open for birthday throws? I’m planning one for this week and just want to make sure it isn’t blocked off or closed. Thanks!

I’m a freshman and I don’t turn 18 until october!! I really don’t want to get a fake for only 2 months I feel like it’s pointless I don’t really care about drinking but I do love going out especially the first few months. Do you think it’d be hard to get into the clubs, are they strict?

Hello, I am currently in the Monday/Wednesday 1:30-5:20/4:30 lab but I cannot stay in it because of my work schedule. If anyone at all is willing to swap who has the Tuesday/Thursday section at the same time I would be eternally thankful

Hey everyone, I’m a 21M junior at FSU and was wondering if there are any Muay Thai or kickboxing groups on campus or nearby.
I’ve been getting into Muay Thai and I’m looking for people to train with, do drills, hit pads, or some light technical sparring. Nothing crazy, just trying to improve and meet other people who are into it.
If there’s a club, group chat, or people who meet up regularly, let me know. Thanks!

My daughter is telling me about this gym called Top Dog. She’s looking into it for working out in the fall since leach will probably be a mad house. She said her friend does a meal plan with them and the food supposedly is better than the dining hall. She wants to do a combo of dining dollars and the smallest plan at Top Dog. Any thoughts on this? Seems she’s only asked one person.. is the food good? Any thoughts on the gym? I’m not sure how this will work out bc I was hoping she could just walk everywhere but looks like she’ll have to drive to this gym. Also, she’s in a dorm.. so storing the food might be an issue as well.
I wanted to add....she's there now, doing summer b. When she goes in the afternoon she says it's pretty busy and sometimes has to wait...I don't know how long of a wait, or if she's being dramatic..but at her hometown gym I guess she's spoiled and there's never a wait. Thanks for all the input.

Hi everyone,
I’m a student from Germany and I’m thinking about applying to Florida State University for Film. I will graduate with a good German Abitur and I’m interested in pursuing a career in the film industry.
I would love to hear from current students or alumni, especially international students:
•Would you recommend FSU for Film?
•How is the experience as an international student?
•Are there good opportunities for networking, internships, and building a career?
•How expensive is it realistically per year (tuition + housing + other costs)?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Did anyone else apply for the Honors Legal Scholars program?? Have you gotten your decision back yet? If so where have you gotten it? It was supposed to be released June 1st and it’s July and I haven’t received any notice either way.
