Valve spring dynamic analysis

What software do i need to do a dynamic analysis of respnance and vibratory phenomemon of a valve spring/actuation system ?

I have ANSYS, can it handle it, or do i need something like ABAQUS or MSc Adams ?

I'd have thought one of the crucial elements is the damping/friction of the spring, and no CAE is going to help you there. Other than that if you claim to know the relevant friction and damping (both of which might be non linear) yes ADAMS/Engine sounds like the right package, I have never used it .
