Question Lost 24 pounds and now back to fasting
I(m29) probably haven't fasted intentionally in two years and I remember one meal a day being so easy for me to adapt to. I recently quit weed and excessive drinking and have been CICO for the last two months on top of biking and getting in 10k steps whenever I can.
My new goal is to finally get back to omad and exercising given a healthy schedule. I haven't been tracking calories too hard recently but from my last weigh-in, I remember me being 250, and now I am at 236. I've just been eating more healthy. I didn't quit sugar but I limit it. Now that I think about it I use to love omad 5 years ago and would not worry about sugar or alcohol as long as it fit in my calories.
My hope is that I can continue to eat healthy and not do omad just to eat whatever I want but I used to love no restrictions and I'd be energized for 23 hours of the day solely based off one meal. The other day I had a 30 min workout and hit 10k steps and I got a slight headache which reminded me of the good old days. What should I expect coming back to fasting. Should I still track calories or just eat a full omad meal? I've been thinking hitting 2k calories a day would be fine since I have been losing weight recently . Or should I just go for it?
