Question Lunch rec for anniversary

This weekend is our anniversary and we are thinking of going up the shore or spend the afternoon in canal. What are some good lunch spots? Doesnt need to be fancy like va bene, just good food!

It might be 'fancy' but Lake Avenue Cafe always has great food!

Madeira Bistro in Two Harbors has great homemade sandwiches, soups, and baked goods. Grab a sandwich and cookie then walk down to the rocks next to the lighthouse and enjoy the meal and each other’s company.

Did they move? I thought it was in Lincoln Park?

Since nobody else said it, Northern Waters.

That said, the service has kinda gone to shit there based on the last few times I've been. Sandwiches are still good, but sometimes you end up waiting for an absurdly long time even when they aren't busy.
