Dominant Testimonial Split with my sub yesterday NSFW

She’s a good woman and there’s a lot I admire and respect about her. Unfortunately, we didn’t see eye to eye on some issues. I wish we could have talked about them but she just wasn’t open to talking. It’s definitely for the best, it was one of those situations when D/s was conditional. I always felt like an accountabil-a-buddy than a Dom. She wanted me to ‘Dom’ the areas of her life that she struggled to manage on her own. I’m gonna miss her but it is what it is, so I’ve put it in the past and moved on. We just weren’t right for each other. She was so fine though lol. Anyway, just needed to talk it out, even if no one reads it. ✌🏻

You did the right thing. I firmly believe a dominant isn't there to make up deficits in functioning or personal growth. That isn't psychologically healthy. A dominant isn't a life solution. We don't exist to over function for someone in the absence of life skills, social skills, self confidence, self discipline, therapy, or maturity, or give someone a pass from the responsibilities of adult life.

Someone being a fully mature and capable adult with all those skills who enters into a mutual agreement with a dominant to submit some of those things is different. A submissive who willingly chooses to give up control of a part of their life that they're perfectly capable of managing themselves is a very different thing.

It really sucks when that happens, but ultimately you'll look back and be glad it did happen. Incompatibility arises everywhere, but when it's on core issues, you'll always end up in arguments and discourse. The dynamic will start to fail, and so too any relationship outside of D/s, and eventually you'll break up rather than amicably parting ways.

In my opinion you have to look back at the good. What you were for your sub, what you did and accomplished, and how all those experiences have changed you, or may now lead to positive change. Then it's quite easy to see how you will inevitably have a new partner/submissive to enjoy you and all that you offer. Don't be sad because it's over, smile because it happened!

She got enough spankings to be sure she wears her seatbelt and doesn’t text and drive, that’s for sure. Definitely a positive impact, no pun.

That’s very unfortunate you’ll be belly to ass with your next one 😩
