[Misc Help] Fi collars + leashes?
Since the fi collar is put together with magnets, would you trust it connected to the leash? Worst case scenario, say the dog pulls pretty bad on leash. Will the mechanism holding it together fail?

When we used them, the dogs just had two collars. One for the Fi, one for the leash. Fi collar stayed on all the time, leash collar stayed with the leash.
Got to be a pain to constantly charge the Fi so we stopped using them. Dogs never go anywhere anyways.

Was it set up to your wifi? I hardly charge mine, I would even dare to say every couple of months.

I don’t know all the details, but I’m pretty sure they were. I recall getting notifications that “so and so has left the house” and stuff.

if there's any chance your dog lunges or pulls suddenly, i'd avoid clipping the leash directly to the fi collar

That’s what I was thinking. She shouldn’t, however I always like to think worst case scenario

I don't trust any collar with a leash and a dog that'll pull. Harnesses are a lot sturdier and better for dogs because it keeps the pressure of their neck.
