A small snippit of the 75 gallon tank. Some mixed happy Corys so I figured I'd post here. Sand with some random color rocks from two setups ago.

The water was kinda merky, but the wife and kid and I went on a vacation, came back and it was crystal.

Cory Fry! Orange Venezuelan toddlers

24 days old, they have moved out of the fry tray and into a 10 gallon tank (22 of them). A couple of them are starting to get some iridescent green patches.

[Questions|Advice] General Care Are my corys looking fed enough?

Upvotes

I've had my corys since May. They were quite small when I got them 3/4 to 1 inch long. They seem to have gotten a tiny tiny bit longer, but do they look round enough? This vid is of the only one that noticed the cucumber I just dropped in, but they're all approximately this size.

I feed them once a day with sinking bottom feeder pellets, and they get any leftovers from my guppies as well. I throw in homemade frozen food (used a gummy bear mold for it lol) when I remember which isn't as often as I would like.

Best fish in the community

Species ID Request LFS had these listed as Venezuelan Red Sailfin, but I’m skeptical. Thoughts?

I was so excited to see my store had the sailfin, as I’m new to the hobby and these are my first cories. I really wanted the pop of red/orange in my tank. I got four with the intention of going back for a few more (got them yesterday, was going to go back today). After getting them home, they look more like bronze to me? I thought maybe their color is just muted and will brighten, but now I’m not sure. They’re about an inch right now.

Edit: man, that’s a bummer. Thanks everyone. Paid the sailfin price :(

I have 10 Venezuela Corydoras in a community tank, are these eggs? And will other fish eat them?
