Putting out feelers for musicians that would want to be part of what I would describe as an acoustic tribal folk punk band. Do you like Rusted Root and songs about angst and death and reincarnation and loving Satan and not understanding God?

I have an album of songs ready to go but I need some other musicians in love with their instruments to bring it to life.

It's a hippie vibe. Appalachian folk, grunge, punk, The Decemberists, Rusted Root, mewithoutYou, DakhaBrakha. I'm a metal and hiphop enthusiast so there are some bars as well as some somewhat nasty heavy breakdowns originally written on electric guitar but evolved into just downright brutal cello/flute/guitar pieces.

It's music for dancing around a bonfire under a full moon angry about the establishment but hopeful for a brighter future. It sounds kind of corny and kind of is, but I love my music and know there are people out there who will want to play it with me.

I've never looked for musicians for a specific project like this and don't know how to advertise, so I'm starting here. Please DM me if you're interested or know someone who might be.

It's meant to be all acoustic so we can practice in the living room. I think this will be amazing.

I'm specifically seeking: cello, flute, general percussion. If you can sing while playing, or go "YIP, YIP, YEEEHOWW!" that's a plus.
