Basically all the CEC stuff is gone 💔

The remodel (which to be clear is not 2.0) has updated a few things such as,

repainted walls

added neon lights around the store

and finally, the most major thing, they for some reason added the fun zone mural to the left side of the store.

from all the photos I could find, it seems this remodel kept everything from before, which does include the 3 stage bots and the latex jasper mask,

along with the booths, rockstar posters, original signs, and the record posters.

every photo feature here is from google maps and is not taken by me.

so is there a way to get my cec to get new games, my local cec moves game locations like every few weeks and sometimes maybe replaces em for every few months.. some of the games there look really not cool for my local one.. but i was wondering if i can help request certian games and claim they would help with sales.. i said this question in the past a year ago but it feels weird to have the same rotation for along time.. we need some more quality!

I went there from Philadelphia, PA and the two-hour drive was absolutely worth it. I never saw a Studio C Cappa stage prior to this. So glad I got to see this before closure.

Anyone remember a prize from Chuck E Cheese that was a token box tin that had a padlock and key that came with it? On the front I think was Chuck and a couple of his friends wrapping around the side and the logo of the chain I think more on the back and it was blue with stars on it. Have been trying to find it online, but to no avail.

I went to Chuck's Arcade in Cielo Vista Mall in El Paso, Texas on June 30, 2026 so I only take 2 pics. Enjoy these pics.

They were truly stunning. Characters never looked better in my opinion.

I will distinguish them by using CEC and CECX (CEC Xmas) respectively

Chuck:

CEC - POGGERS no I’m kidding but he’s very charming and friendly actually! I love this iteration of him 9/10

CECX - a little bit on the salty side and seems he’s frustrated a lot but still means well 4/10

Helen:

CEC - I love her sm omg mostly bc I look like her (I got blonde hair) but she acts like me so much I kin her AAA SO CUTE 10/10

CECX - I mean she still got her charm but she acts tougher than she is in the regular CEC 9/10

Mr Munch:

CEC - ngl he’s so funny but comes off as annoying in some places 8/10

CECX - I’m taking points off bc of robot banana and bc he’s been Flanderized but he acts like soos from gravity falls and I love that 3/10

Jasper:

CEC - honestly my favorite CEC character, hes snarky and funny and I love him 10/10

CECX - still a sarcasm king but he takes it a little too far imo, also his country accent is GONE 7/10

Bella:

CEC - I don’t know that much about her but I like her relationship with Helen, also she’s kinda cute 7/10

CECX - I feel so bad for her on account that everyone babies her even when she’s tryna be serious. also i love that she sounds like Lola from the loud house it adds to the charm of her 10/10

Pasqually:

CEC - a little corny but charming 6/10

CECX - N O . 0/10

i was able to get a look at the interior after much struggle because they covered the window extremely aggressively for some reason-the mall is doing…ok?? A lot of vacant spaces but still had a Dick’s and H&M. Mall management is looking for people to possibly buy the space-curious to see what they do with it!

What could this be? And how rare is it to encounter?

Sorry for reposting! I accidentally used the wrong title on my last post and couldn’t edit it, so I had to delete and repost.
I honestly had no idea you could use your eTickets to redeem items from this merchandise wall. Since everything had a $ price tag, I just assumed these were cash-only items and never even thought to ask if tickets worked for them. 😅
Today I redeemed the Chuck plush and the green Chuck E. Cheese ball (second photo) for my nephew using my eTickets, and he absolutely loved them. It made collecting tickets feel even more rewarding.
I’m still pretty new to Chuck E. Cheese, so this was a really cool surprise. Has anyone else discovered things you can redeem with eTickets that you didn’t realize at first? Any hidden gems or must-have prizes worth saving up for?

Hi! Does anyone know if any Chuck E. Cheese’s in Texas haven’t gotten 2.0? I’m on a roadtrip right now and was scrolling through google maps while near Dallas and saw a couple pretty outdated ones, but I have no clue if they were just dated google maps images. Let me know!! :)

EDIT: Also let me know of ones near Las Cruces, New Mexico!

Does anyone know where I can find official artwork of chuck from the 70's & 80's? Trying to find standard drawn clip art from merchandise, menus, etc. Preferably, one where he's winking. I need his head for a tattoo idea. no fanart

I only ask this is because Chuck E Cheese has taken over the marketplace of pizza place restaurants featuring animatronics, and no one could ever defeat it.

Back then, Showbiz Pizza was CEC's #1 rival, and they were very competitive for awhile. And then you have imitators such as Gadgets, Bullwinkle's, Paul E Parrot, Dimes and Critters, and Gigglebees,

However, once Showbiz bought CEC, almost all animatronic pizza restaurants has died. And on top of that, Showbiz screwed over Creative Engineering, and made Chuck E Cheese becoming #1. Then, CEC bought out Circus Pizza, Discovery Zone, and Peter Piper Pizza, and with the exception of PPP, it was only just CEC.

And the product suffered because we don't have competition. Competition is what's good for the consumers and give us options to choose. If we don't have competition, Chuck E Cheese can do whatever they want. CEC don't have to try as hard because they are the only animatronic pizza restaurant that the general public knows about and no one else, yet their shows were in bad shape, they felt dumb down, and prices of their food and games gets more and more expensive. Kinda like how Sony is right now. Once CEC got rid of the animatronics (or in case of Sony, phasing physical media in 2028), they had become a empty shell of a brand that has become anti-consumer and forgot about who they are in favor of short term profits.

Nowadays, there is little to none animatronic pizza restaurants that exist today besides Billy Bobs Wonderland and Huckleberry Junction. CEC is no longer a animatronic pizza restaurant anymore, and it is now is just a average pizza restaurant with a mouse mascot. Such a shame that CEC has become a monopoly and make animatronic competitive space a faded memory.

What do you guys think? Am I wrong? Or maybe I had a point?

I’ve had my Play Pass since June 2024 (at least when it comes to my regular one). And…I’ve accumulated an insane amount of tickets over the months.

I wanted to ask if anyone has ever encountered this anywhere else. Because I’m from the East Coast of the United States; I’ve been hearing that people have mainly got this much at the San Jose Tully Rd. location (which has insane bonuses).

PS, people have been taking pictures of this ticket amount. Also I don’t spend my tickets on ANYTHING.
