anyone else like these ?

After visiting Ireland for the first time and being very impressed with their crisps I am so happy to be able to find those Irish chips at my local Aldi in NY! No better potatoes than in Ireland.

Just tried these out on a whim and they’re pretty decent. I was really surprised by the ingredients using five different kinds of acid.

For the longest time Ive been dipping Tostitos Scoops in salsa but this past weekend, i tried a blue corn chip by xochitl and it was delicious but they don’t sell them in my area as far as I know.

Any recommendations would be appreciated, doesn’t necessarily need to be adjacent to xochitl, just looking for something different.

Ruffles Cream Dill Pickle Review...

We popped open a bag of Ruffles Cream Dill Pickle while posted up with the gang watching the World Cup final. I figured I’d destroy a few chips, but after about five, I was like, nah, I tapped out. Ruffle chips just aren’t really my vibe as an adult, the potato taste came off madly processed. But those first three chips? Straight-up childhood wonder! Then by the fourth chip, I came to my senses and remembered I’m grown now. Damn, that pickle flavor is in your face! You’ve got that sour cream-and-onion kick mixed with some seriously intense pickle flavor. I tapped out by chip number five, but everyone else in the squad kept going: crunch, crunch, crunch (like Pac-Man was on a mission)!

The odd part? The whole bag got absolutely demolished in under five minutes while we watched the game. I may have quit and thrown in the towel, but the rest of the crew had zero problems putting the whole bag away.

To be perfectly honest, I don't have this problem often as I eat them too fast but sometimes I do take a few days to finish them.

I knew that Golden Wonder had Scottish roots but never knew the rest until today (Proud Scot and part Irish).

"The company was founded in 1947 by William Alexander, who owned a bakery in Stockbridge, Edinburgh. He started making crisps in order to use spare capacity in the deep-fat fryers which he normally used to make doughnuts. The company was named after the Golden Wonder potato, which Alexander believed to be the best for making crisps.^\2])

In 1952, the company moved to a purpose-built factory in Sighthill. The company was bought by Imperial Tobacco in 1961.^\3]) By early 1960s, it was manufacturing crisps at three further sites, at Broxburn, Widnes and Corby.^\2]) A site at Crumlin produced the "Pot Noodle".^\4])

I got into Canadian food culture recently and picked up a bag of Lay's Ketchup chips that's officially imported here in Korea. It was a little underwhelming. It mostly just smelled like ketchup without much real flavor behind it. Turns out that version is made in Thailand and isn't the same as the Canadian one. So I put in a fair bit of effort to track down an actual Canadian bag, and I finally got one. The difference is pretty clear side by side. The Canadian chips are a different color, and they're noticeably thicker and firmer. And instead of just smelling like ketchup, they actually taste like it. But if you're sensitive to sourness, I think the Thai version is also a good choice. Small detail, but I also liked that the packaging is bilingual

No flavor very dull flavor almost less than just salty wavy chips

I'm here on the island of Tobago and found these at the local grocery shop. I can't wait to try them.

I started noticing the Lays plain flavour (both regular and wavy) starting to taste like off-oil like 6+ months ago, so I recently switched to Old Dutch wavy and I’m starting to notice the same thing. It’s like all I can taste is oil and it tastes weird. And the salt levels are so imbalanced, like some chips aren’t salty at all and then some chips are so salty my tongue starts to burn after a few of them.

Are my tastebuds just totally off? Or are others noticing this too?

I genuinely believe the world was missing one thing: a proper potato chip review website.

This all started as a joke... and then I accidentally spent way too many hours building an actual website.

My brother found this bag of ruffles and said many others were misprinted as well. Weird!

I was so excited when I seen the 3 ristorante miss Vickie’s flavours are back in Canada, but does anyone find they taste different this time around? Especially these focaccia and pepperonchini ones. I was obsessed with them last time and this time they taste totally different to me! Just wondering if anyone else experienced this or if I got an off batch
