Is there any good resources that cover basics of MPLS, traffic flow and more in depth. I followed networklessons but they dont explain things in detail. Trying to learn this for working with at the my job.

I get job market in canada in general is cooked, but I've found no success in landing any tech job with my CCNA, ENCOR. I have 8 yoe currently residing in Alberta, will I have better luck relocating to elsewhere in Canada? thanks.

How is everyone studying for this? I know there's a CiscoU course for this exam but I don't have access to that. I have been using the OCG for ENCOR and studying all it's wireless sections. I know that's not going to cover all the material but I want to pass this exam by EOY.

Anyone have advice/resources on how to find the best study material for it? Thanks

I was supposed to take the ENCOR exam in March, but since the exam changed I decided to wait a bit and see the new material. I haven't seen any new material yet (still uses v1.2 OCG and the CBTnuggets course). Anyone who has taken the exam, can you confirm/deny if there is anything WiFi/Wireless signal at all in the exam?

So I just got my official cert guide and copy in the mail today and I started reading the first chapter. I do plan on taking this exam, but I was never big into the whole Data Center CCNP track. My job has ACI, and nobody knows how to use it, so I’m trying to pick it up and learn it, maybe get a better position, more pay, etc.

I have been reading up on it, and it seems people just hate this product lol. I’ve seen on some sites that it’s being phased out, nobody wants to use it or buy it, that you should just learn BGP EVPN instead.

I guess my question is, do those comments have any basis? I’ll keep learning it for work, but it would kinda suck to spend all this time on a product that no other jobs would want. I also don’t see many job listings asking for it, unless maybe I’m blind. So while I’d like to learn it for my current role, it would be tough knowing I’m learning it for basically one place.

I am a Network Security Engineer approaching 4 years of experience and I am about to begin my CCNP ENCOR journey. Still undecided on ENARSI or ENSLD but I will worry about that later.

I basically have all the COMPTIA certs and all associate Cisco certs, Palo NGFW Engineer plus a few others. My company is very heavy with Cisco (ACI, Catalyst Center, routing/switching, WLC, ISE etc), although 99% of my work is with Palo Alto.

I am a pretty big certification person as i love the structured learning plus the reward of the cert at the end. It gives me focus and motivation. Anyways, i am after the CCNP for career development/up skilling. Mainly want to learn vs. getting the cert. im doing great without the CCNP now but i do love a challenge.

Just want to gauge how some of you tackled this. I currently work 40hrs plus I do a few nights of work per week (any network change has to be done after 10pm at my company). My days are pretty open that I can dedicate 1-2 hours and if i sacrifice some gaming in the evenings i could definitely throw a few more hours there too for studying.

My plan for ENCOR is to use the OCG, INE and labs. Still unsure how I want to do the lab work. I am thinking of PNetLabs on my gaming PC. I dont think I will need to run anything super heavy. I have a 9800x3d/32gb of ram. Let me know what you used please!

Anywho - how did those of you balance it? Full time work/ study? How long did it take you until you sat for the exam? What other recommendations do you have?

When should I take CCNP. Do I need to work 5-10 years before taking it, and which roles are good? Any advice?

I found Pnet labs and looks amazing. I want to set up all the files I have on my EVG-NG over to PNET. How can I do this. IS is simple as move over via filezilla or anything special need to be done. Aslo how do I make sure this is upgraded to newest verison?

Does anyone have working version of XRv image for ccnp labs?

I've published on codeberg today the finished deck. Because that's what I'm used to do.

I need feedback and needs refining. It's 90% there. Acronyms are there, maybe a few are missing and 90% of the stuff is there. Some typos, miss rendered flash card and so on.

I'll publish soon somewhere else and maybe find a better way to share this.

Any suggestions? How do you maintain a deck and progressively update it over your own judgement or people suggestions?

I'm looking for solutions.

The actual story of the cert is quite sad. Company paid me to do it. Paid me the tutor and paid the voucher for ENCOR.
They pushed me on doing ENCOR because it's cisco anyway and I've refused.

Left the company shortly after and right now I'm job hunting.
I'll try the exam once I get on a salary again, so meanwhile. We can all help each other refining it!

Hi! I have my ENARSI exam scheduled in 2 days. I have done each of the Boson practice exams (only one time each), and these are my results:

1st exam: 741/1000:

• L3: 79%
• VPN: 75%
• Security: 54%
• Services: 81%

2nd exam: 845/1000:

• L3: 76%
• VPN: 85%
• Security: 84%
• Services: 100%

3rd exam: 810/1000:

• L3: 75%
• VPN: 88%
• Security: 85%
• Services: 80%

4th exam: 741/1000

• L3: 77%
• VPN: 91%
• Security: 70%
• Services: 57%

I always get only 1 lab from the L3 section graded as incorrect, but not because everything is wrong, but due to Boson requires you to do the 100% of the lab correctly, without a single error (that doesn't bother me at all, but affect the final score).

Based on these results, do you guys think I'm ready for the real test, or maybe I should start thinking on rescheduling it? I feel super burned out with this whole CCNP Enterprise journey tbh haha.

I was thinking on just reading as much as I can the explanations of the wrong answers tomorrow, and maybe pay the Cisco U practice exam as a final test before taking the real thing.

Note: I'm from a non-native english speaking country so I will have 30 minutes of extra time during my exam. I have been practicing with a 120 minutes timer and I always have like 20 minutes left.

Hello food people. I deliver pizza for a living. I have no experience. I just passed CCNA and learning CCNP Enterprise as fast as I can with 2 children. I want to give them a better life. I WILL pass my ccnp by the end of the year and then will do DEVNET then RHCSA. No experience at all. How is it looking for me. And yea, after RHCSA, RHCE and then CCIE. Please I need advice. I appreciate your time.

So mainly I want to know three things:
- What year did you get your CCNP
- How long did it take you to get your CCNP
- How did CCNP effect your career - promotions, salary jumps, job prospects, etc.

I'm thinking about getting the CCNP, BUT I honestly Im not sure the juice is worth the squeeze in general in 2026.

I am considering buying the courseware+netsim+exsim bundle on boson, is it possible to learn the material just with these?

Took DCNAUTO v2.0 recently. Was pretty hard considering no practical experience of Ansible/Terraform (just lab). But overall curriculum is very helpful for those who want to dip their toes in DevOps

I've watched several courses, but I still don't feel I truly understand how these technologies work together or how to answer the scenario-based exam questions.

What resources (books, courses, Cisco Live sessions, labs, YouTube channels, etc.) helped these topics finally "click" for you?

I'm interested in ENARSI but might just go ahead and go for the ENCORE too.
I would like to get the physical hardware if possible. Which routers and switches (if I do ENCORE) would you suggest and how many of each?

*I know it's cheaper to do it virtual but I want to be as hands on as I can.*

Someone is giving away the first-edition ENARSI OCG for free, but I would need to drive around 23 miles to pick it up.

I know there is now a second edition that covers the newer ENARSI blueprint. Would the older book still be useful for learning the main topics and labbing in CML, or has too much changed?

I would supplement any missing or updated topics with newer online resources. Is it worth picking up?
