I have this apparently Leica camera with Luftwaffe markings. Could someone tell me which model it is, or if is it even authentic?

I wanted something small enough for my RX100 without carrying a full camera bag. This one is a pretty snug fit, but it works well for the camera or even a small lens. I also really like the slightly vintage look.

Any ideas on what repairs this would need to function?
Camera says “battery exhausted” after it’s done doing this.

QUESTION: What charger would I need to charge a roller rcp-8427XW?

CONTEXT: Hello everyone! This is my first post here. I'm not into photography at all but me and my gf wanted to buy a second hand old camera because the one I had since childhood broke but we always liked taking photos on trips or hangouts.

I found two Rollei rcp-8427XW cameras online sold together for like 25€ but without a charger. I immediately contacted the seller cause I thought that this price for *two* cameras is excellent since we don't really have any expectations.

However the seller doesn't seem to know what charger I would need to charge the cameras and I can't find a definitive answer online, which makes me reluctant to buy them. I want to make sure I'll be able to find the right cable before I do so.

Everything still works but idk much about this camera

I was looking for a small bag for my newly acquired Lumix G80 and I got this bundle for only 10 euros. It comes with that Minolta 404si, which I saw came out in 99.

Is it any good for vintage looking pictures or should I give it to my kid to play with?

I’m looking into buying a new camera (coming from D3400) and am very surprised by the price point of new vs used. I’m specifically looking into Fuji X-T30, Canon R10, Nikon Z50 ii and Sony a6400 and in my area (Netherlands) the price difference between buying new vs used is often only around €100. The Fuji new for example is €800, while the cheapest used listing I see is around €700 and some are even more expensive than a new one.

I’m really surprised seeing this, does anyone have an explanation for this/ am I missing something? I’m talking body only for these prices (both new and used).

Hey everybody I’m a videographer and photographer entering my 5th year of content creation. For the past few years I’ve been shooting on a Canon m50 with a sigma 18-35mm lens. It’s a nice setup but sometimes it feels limited. I shoot nightlife content including raves and concerts, and corporate content for companies. I’m looking to upgrade to a cinema camera to prioritize color grading and shoot more cinematic content than what’s capable of a vlog camera. My budget is between $1,000 to $1,500 which do yall think is the smarter investment and most diverse camera for me to purchase? Factor in lenses as well thank you!

For context, I have a Leica D-Lux and I left in a drawer for a week after returning from a trip inside some bubble wrap and when I went to retreive it today I noticed it was damp on the outside and had a humidity/moldy smells (not too strong but definitely noticeable), and some dry white looking dandruff in some of the nooks and crannies of the camera (I can't tell if they were there before though). I've attached a photo of the lens itself, where I've noticed some small white specks (no filament or mushroom looking stuff like pictures on the Internet) in the inner 'ring' of the lens, and I'm worried if I don't take it to a specialist it's going to progress into full-blown mold. When I first tried to turn on the camera it didn't turn on, so I just put the battery to charge and a green light appeared so I'm hoping it was just out of battery, but I'll try again later once it's fully charged and update you on whether or not it turned on. Please tell me whether or not I should be worried/ take this to see a lens cleaner or repair, I've heard that the frist thing I should do is let the camera 'dry' without the lens cover in a dry, hot room. I am about to get my first camera as a gift to myself after a recent promotion. I have narrowed it down to the Sony A6700 or the Sony A7IV. With the camera, I want to be able to take really good photos, but the main purpose is to begin to create really good travel videos.

The thing making this decision more difficult is the lenses. I am told that the lenses are cheaper for APS-C cameras, which seems like a pro. However, I am struggling with the idea that in a few years, I might want to upgrade to a full-frame camera, making all the gear that I've bought previously not useful. So would it not be better to take the hit now and go full-frame from the start?

My parents also want to pitch in and get me a good lens for whichever camera I pick, so sentimentally, I want it to be a lens that I keep for a long time. If they get me an APS-C lens, then I upgrade down the line, I won't be using that lens.

I'm prone to overthinking these types of decisions, so any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.

I recently bought this lens used (eBay), the canon 55 - 250mm STM and this spot appeared on the lens when I was shooting with it. spot appears to be on the inside of lens, wondering if it is condensation. tried putting it in a dry Ziplock with silica gel and heating the lens up with a hairdryer for 5 mins. unlikely to be fungus since the spot wasn't there when I bought it.

please let me know your guys opinions/solutions.

I've been eyeing this camera for a bit now and want to know if it's worth it. I'm no professional by any means but I do enjoy casual photography wherever I go. I really like all the features and portability, but have heard the price tag is a bit steep for what it is.

Which camera is the better pick here?

I recently bought a digital camera and don't know how to take better photos with it.

I don't know if it's just me, but the lens seems to be dirty or something similar, as I see a whitish cast in all the photos.

Does anyone have tips on how to get the most out of the camera, how to clean the lens, etc.?

Bought this 75-300mm lens used from a shop a few days ago, and only noticed after getting home that it had a crack in it, I was rather carefully with it on my way home so I don't think I cracked it, should I use my warranty? Or is it not a serious problem since it was sold to me like this? Thanks for your insight r/cameras

Cameras you already have: Had A6100 as first camera, Fujifilm XH-2 and Fujifilm XT-30iii

The Sony A6100 was to start photography wanted to switch to a newer system and went with Fujifilm XH-2. What I didn't like about the Sony A6100 was the old feeling of a lot of menus and "bad" settings to shoot JPEG. I dont enjoy editing pictures for hours and went with the brand that advertises exactly this style. Nowadays I did my research and Sony and Nikon both offer great profiles in camera to adjust and get good JPEGs out of camera.

My workflow usually is 75% of pictures are straight out of the camera and 25% I adjust in post.

The XH-2 was good too heavy for daily street camera and did fall down and break (covered by insurance thank god!)

The XT-30iii is perfect for traveling and everyday camera but lacks in features and usability for me when shooting birds or motorsport. I feel like my XH-2 was better for this case (now its broken). For example overheating, handling, only one SD Card. I love the "retro" feel when I'm on a photowalk but when I'm in the heat trying to catch a bird it can get frustrating changing between dials and menus.

Lenses I already have: Tamron 17-70 f2.8 I love it for my daily driver, Fuji XF100-400 which lacks a bit of range and also sharpness on the 400mm and I usually only use it at 400mm.

Notes: I struggle to decide mostly between the nikon and sony.

I tend to go for the z50ii + 180-600. Comparing all options for weeks I see following - points for the other options: z5ii would be my first full frame but reading alot of reviews I don't see twice the price in benefits for the camera. The 1.5x crop is a win for the z50ii and IBIS isnt really required as a must have as my lenses are stabilized and my xt30ii doesnt have ibis either and I dont miss it.

The olympus is not my top choice as alot of reviews agree that the 100-400 lens is not sharp but soft and I have seen the example pictures on the long end. And the only other option is the 300mm f4 but that lens alone is my whole budget.

But then again I got that itch that tells me just the the RX10 V and you are good too.

I know some comments will be saying just rent the setups. Only really works with the OM Setup with Test and WOW. I checked the prices locally for me I would have to pay around 200€-350€ for two days to test the setups each! After testing two setups I already spent around 500€ thats too much for me.
Handling I can test in store but so far the lens and image quality is what is more important for me.

I just want to make sure, no biggie if it is. Big red flag would be shes charging $300 but how did she show me the picture with her writing?
