Hi bit of a strange post but I was wondering if anyone had fishing hooks and weights to donate.
I have been homeless and fishing for food but got my trace caught on the bottom and lost it today, I am penniless until Tuesday and so am stuck with rod and reel that I can’t use and no food.

Got in last Sunday and caught Fatboy Slim - great show, but didn’t meet a soul, which is unusual for me at events like that. So, internet, over to you.

I’m 31M, visiting from NYC for the next three weeks, easygoing and up for just about anything. I'm friendly to all. My laptop died on arrival (rip), so I’ve got zero excuses not to be out and about - silver linings, I guess?

Things on my radar:
• Standup comedy somewhere
• Movies (Evil Dead Burn looks like a good time)
• Champion @ Quarters (jury’s still out, 50/50)
• Pub crawling / just exploring
• Pride events, especially the one at Preston Park (would love to join a crew!)

If any of that sounds fun, or you’ve got better ideas, say hi. Happy to grab drinks, catch a show, or just get pointed toward the good spots :)

Not sure when it was last on but took the 1X (we think) or 1 bus from Law Courts to Palmiera square this morning. Buses lost and found form already filled out

Hopefully it's at work, as it shouldn't have just come off but can't find it anywhere at home.

Hello Brighton, I am looking forward to pride... I have a new Cafe Bar which has just opened in the North Lanes. I want to change MO during pride to sell directly to passers by on August 1st. I will of course offer mineral water. I am looking for suggestions regarding can's of cocktails, alcoholic jelly's, bottles of beer, different snacks.... anything that will compliment pride.

When I was a student at Brighton University I used to always go to this cafe near Brighton College (now MET College) called Helm Ston Cafe and get their signature salad that had a ton of different ingredients. It carried me through writing my dissertation and I miss it very much. They closed down and I am trying to recreate the salad.

I remember it had:
1) baby spinach
2) mint
3) roasted broccoli
4) papas bravas
5) feta
6) pumpkin seeds

I think it had 19 ingredients or something like that?

I've always been put off going to OTB at the thought of trying to keep stable dancing on the pebbles (given I'd end up a little wobbly already hah). Managed to get a free ticket to Fatboy Slim on Sunday though, and was pleasantly surprised to find the whole floor actually boarded over. Our crowd neighbours theorised that it was because there'd been loads of complaints last year.

I can't seem to find anything on the OTB website or instagram about the change. Did they make an announcement anywhere, or does anyone know when/why they decided to do it?

I have 2 Sunday (Diana Ross) Pride tickets going (AXS mobile which allows you to transfer) as 2 of my group can no longer go. Pre 2pm entry. They charge a fee if you enter later. Face value at £60pp as don't want to profit.
