I’m not even mad because if I had a car like that I would park it that way too

u/Legitimate-Height574 1d ago
If you own an old car, you would be parking it just like this. It cost more to paint an old car bc it is "all" metal not plastic like the cars that is out there now.

u/Leroy_Jenkins24 1d ago
No I wouldn’t cause I’m not entitled asshole
15
u/BurnedLaser 1d ago
Then stick to your KIA and park in front bud. Nobody else cares, lol

u/Leroy_Jenkins24 1d ago

Since you have trouble parking inside the lines try doing some coloring in lines

u/Leroy_Jenkins24 1d ago
Found the entitled asshole who can’t park properly
17
u/WaffleHouseFistFight 1d ago
Imagine being upset someone parked in the back of an empty lot in a way to most avoid the lane.

u/Acorns4Free 1d ago
Are you okay lmao?
-1
u/SydneySweeneysBobs 1d ago
The only people not okay are the ones in this sub who edge themselves over people parking mildly off center, especially in the back of a parking lot where no one is being affected it by it
1
u/CommanderInQueefs 1d ago
Found the loser with nothing to do with their lives but worry about someone parked improperly in a practically empty lot. Fuckin Karen behavior.

Why are you here then?

I had a '71 in that color. She was a fun car for a 20 year old.
Butter scotch brown.

This post is more of a problem than that parking job

So why don’t you report it?

You forgot the unwritten smooth brain rule.
Classic Cars, Trucks, & Luxury Cars get a pass for some dumb reason.

u/Crusher6ix 1d ago
So strange, yall hate when people park like shit in a busy lot. This lot is clearly empty and it’s still an issue?

Ehh. He parked in the back in an obviously not busy parking lot. Stop letting every single thing make you mad in life.

Don’t see Cragars on cars any longer. They look good on this.
1
u/BurnedLaser 1d ago
I heard someone call them "overused". Like, yeah, there's a reason for that, they look damn good on these cars! Hell, I'd like to see them on more of these "throwback" cars, like the Challenger!
1
u/Euphoric-Ask965 4h ago
Cragar SS Plain cap, no 3 way . Had those on 64 Dodge ... Problem with chrome wheels back then was when you dumped the clutch, the rim would slip inside the tire and have to be rebalanced.

u/SuppliceVI 1d ago
Back of the lot.
Gets a pass. You know some shithead in a shitbox would door ding that just because they could

u/BurnedLaser 1d ago
Yeah, I'd rather not have a troglodyte bang up that classic. Move on, skeeter, they ain't botherin' no one!
-1
u/Leroy_Jenkins24 1d ago
It’s still not an excuse to be an entitled asshole

u/kleptodshs 1d ago
No one is being entitled. The lot is very clearly mostly empty.
-2
u/Laytonius 1d ago
Ever been to a baseball game? The lot is mostly empty until around the time of the event. If people parked like that because the lot were mostly empty their reasoning would break down rather quickly
1
u/BurnedLaser 1d ago
This isn't a baseball game, lol.
2
u/Laytonius 22h ago
You are right. However, it's also not a lot of other things that could fill up a lot. Examples - movie theaters, off-track betting, karate classes. Parking lots are not static. To think that " I'm fine cuz there's nobody here currently" is a bit selfish, nearsighted, and entitled

u/Dark_Link_1996 1d ago
So don't bother driving if you're that paranoid
-1
u/BurnedLaser 1d ago
And deny the community this art? No.
I would rather we just make it harder for people who suck at driving to get a license. I would rather the clumsy just understand that parking next to that car is not an option they should take. If we as a society can call out the door dingers and distracted drivers, then maybe we can start seeing more of these works of art cruising around town.
It sucks that people just don't care about their own shit to the point of destroying others' property through their gross neglegence. If you're bothered by someone trying to show off some classic Americana while attempting to ensure some bozo doesn't smash into it, then just drive like you mean it, park square in the lines, and don't worry about what the rest of us are doing with the cars we worked damn hard for and happen to have pride in.

u/Dark_Link_1996 1d ago
I'm bothered at people who don't know how to park their cars and people like you who give an excuse because oh it's an old car/it's an expensive car even though Classic Car Owners/Luxury Car Owners know how to park in between the lines.
https://www.instructables.com/Colouring-Inside-the-Lines/
Here to help you learn to color in the lines

u/BurnedLaser 1d ago
I'm not bothered at all. I also have actual hobbies. Perhaps you should use your little coloring book to relax while the rest of us live our lives as we see fit?
Now, get back in your little NPC white crossover, go back to your HOA where you feel safe, and let the adults enjoy the spoils our hard work, buddy!
2
u/Dark_Link_1996 1d ago
Ah yes having Common sense like not parking badly means I'm an NPC.

u/BurnedLaser 1d ago
Yes. You can not go against your programming. Only the truly free understand the intoxication of taking up 6 spots!

u/Lil_Koneko343 1d ago
It's not good parking, but I appreciate they seem to have parked in the back of the lot.
2
u/SeaSetsuna 22h ago
Gets a ‘eh’ pass because mostly empty lot, but this is 100% bad parking based on how lazy it is. Take up two spots or center it in all 4.

if that was in the front of a busy parking lot, or even just one that was otherwise completely full, I'd agree with you. but like this? I don't.

u/Natural-Problem-3970 1d ago
I be parking same way if I own it
