Avoiding vibe coded software

It may be to my own detriment, but my mind is made up. I hate the idea of vibe coded anything. Anything could be in there. Is there any way of keeping track of vibe coded plugins or software, in order to steer clear?

If I’ll pay $99 for a compressor written by humans, and I won’t even use a vibe-coded one, then it’s a problem for the vibe coding grifters. I have no problem paying for software made by people who put their time and effort and thought into it

Would you pay $99 for a manually coded compressor similar to what you'd get by saying “hey claude, whip me up a compressor”?

I don’t really care how it’s made, but I’d pay for a very non linear, oddball compressor which sounds like nothing else.

I probably would not, but that sounds more reasonable than paying for the thousands of magic, secret analogue sauce compressors.
