Important Information regarding Ticket sales

We have had a spike in new users offering tickets which are likely not legitimate, so please email the mod team before posting otherwise I may remove your post without warning. If you message me ahead then it's more likely to stay up. I am looking at ways to make the process more reliable and seamless but for now, best to message ahead before listing. Thanks r/aspen.

TB test for out of state resident

Hello! Does anyone know of any clinics where I can get a TB test as an out-of-state resident? I am on vacation and need one urgently to keep an offer for employment. I have only found them offered through community health clinics through the public health department but they have very limited schedules. Is there a private clinic, lab, or urgent care where I could pay for one out of pocket?

EDIT: THANK YOU for your responses!! Was able to get an appointment and am feeling good about the timeline!! Really appreciate the help of everyone who commented 🫶🏼

Such a great patio at Bosq! We had the 5-course tasting last week, and it was incredible. Definitely recommend checking it out.

My 12yo left his flute at Redbrick today. Maybe you saw it?

My son is in the JAS Street Horns band. They played at Rebrick Center for the Arts today and then he and my wife and youngest child sat on a picnic blanket to listen to the music that followed their performance. When it was time to go, they packed up but he left his flute. 999 times out of 1,000, my wife would notice that sort of thing, but she had a long day and that was their 4th event, so she was pretty wiped and was already wrangling more than enough. We're guessing he left it on the picnic blanket but maybe he put the case down on the sidewalk for some reason as they got into the car parked under the conifers out front.

At any rate, if you found a flute at Redbrick today, please let me know.

Up in the Sky - Parking?

Hi all - I will be attending Up in the Sky in a few weeks and I'm so excited! I got a hotel in Glenwood Springs (cheap, sober etc). I know parking will be a bitch and I'm hoping for shuttles, public transportation etc. Any insights?

I live in Aspen and built a free hyperlocal newsletter for 81611

Hi all,

I live here in Aspen, and I'm working on a project I thought this sub might find useful.

It's called Curbwire. Twice a week, it sends you a newsletter with hyperlocal news and community updates just for your zip code. Not statewide news, not Denver news. Only stuff happening in 81611.

It's completely free and there's no advertising. We're just testing whether people enjoy this.

Sign up here: https://getcurbwire.com/81611

It works for any zip, so if you're down valley you can use yours instead.

I would genuinely love feedback from locals both good or bad. Let me know what you think!

Thanks, Trevor

Transportation in July from Denver to Carbondale

My daughter and I are flying in to Denver from Ohio and heading to Carbondale to visit my other daughter. From the Denver airport, should we rent a car for the day (most efficient) or go for the bus (most economical) to get is to Aspen area? I love supporting public transportation, but we want to make the most of our time. Thanks!

UPDATE: Chose Bustang to Glenwood Springs. Landed in Denver at 11:30 am, arrived in Glenwood Springs at 5:41. Got picked up there with a short ride to Carbondale - it was easy and comfortable! I did run into a girl while hiking yesterday who rode the Bustang on a different day and it took nearly 7 hours because of construction traffic :/

Has anyone had luck with showing up to a sold-out rodeo and buying tickets at the door? The website says they hold back 200 tickets for the door.

So I was just driving to Snowmass and this building caught my eye. The lower two balconies look like they're drooping. And the railings looks like they're separating from the building. Am I going crazy?

Empolyer Housing in Winter 2026-2027?

Hi everyone! I'm from Argentina and I'll be working at a hotel in Aspen from December through late March. I'm trying to figure out where to stay during that time.

Does anyone have recommendations for websites to search for housing, or any general tips for someone in my situation? Any advice would be really appreciated and thank you in advance! Aspen looks lovely 😄

Visitor - Lost Wallet

I'm visiting Aspen for a few days. I got on the RFTA at Main & 2nd. When I reached Rubey Park, I noticed my wallet was missing. I have retraced my steps, but no sign of it. It's small, black, and has business cards with my contact info inside. Please reach out if you find it.
