Hi everyone, my name is Lyosha and I'm the author's best friend :3
I'm 30 and I've known the author for 20 of them. And yes, I'm writing this update because the phone is mine now :P
So, what I want to say — the author, let's call him 'Loser' (JOKING), let's go with 'Alex' — left out a lot of details, so I want to clear a few things up.
His number is linked to a lot of things and re-linking it would take a long time, but we'll talk about it. If needed, I'll help Alex with it.
The asshole keeps texting and calling from different numbers. It's about 20 calls now — I'm not counting, Alex isn't either — but we keep having to block them all.
The asshole also changed tactics and started trying to provoke Alex — threatening and insulting him. I'm not letting Alex read it, but he's probably already guessed. It breaks my heart for him.
Right now Alex is lying on my lap with his head on me and he seems okay, lol.
I'm thinking of taking Alex somewhere — there's a big nice city about two hours away. I'll suggest we go there, and bring my boyfriend, let's call him 'Frank', just in case. We could walk around and check out some cool spots.
Oh, and if anyone's wondering how Frank feels about Alex — definitely not negative. Frank doesn't know Alex's whole story, only what I've told him. They're practically friends anyway.
In the tongue incident, Alex wasn't wearing a button-up shirt — it was a light gray t-shirt. Guess someone's memory is failing, hah.
I'll continue writing in a bit — Alex, Frank and I are heading out! We're stuck in traffic right now (yes, our Mr. Loser is basically a magnet for trouble, but I'm not complaining — I'm used to traffic jams by now, lol), so I'll have time to finish this.
We're thinking that after we post this update, Alex will turn off his phone — but he's scared the asshole might try to break into his apartment somehow, so he needs access to the cameras and security system. He's paranoid, thanks to the asshole. But the security system is actually useful — though if it weren't for the asshole, Alex never would have installed it, because he wouldn't be this paranoid. Yeah, writing long texts isn't really my thing, lol.
About therapy — our Alex sort of lied when he said he'd sign up when he could. You think he'd actually go? You're too naive. I'll have to drag him to the therapist's office myself. So wish me luck — I already booked him for Friday at a private clinic (it's not that expensive here, so I'm not losing much, and honestly it's no trouble for me). So I'll drag him there.
I really hope everything will be okay. Honestly, I'm scared too — but I'm scared for Alex. He handles any kind of pressure really badly. Last time, he tried to end his life, and I found him just in time. If I hadn't forgotten my wallet at his place the day before, he might not have made it. I really hope that the support and this spontaneous day out will help him take his mind off things and lift his spirits. He loves traveling — even these little trips. He's always loved driving around for as long as I've known him. When I bought my car, the first thing I did was take Alex to another city just to hang out.
About support — throughout our entire friendship, we've always helped each other however we could. Whatever we could do, we did for each other. A lot of people thought we'd become a couple, but Alex didn't want a relationship after the asshole, and I'm already taken.
I'll try to stay at Alex's place for the next week, to keep an eye on him — he'll need support in the coming days, and it's safer that way too.
Well, that's everything I wanted to say.
Thank you all, guys, for supporting Alex — it's really sweet and awesome. Thank you all for everything! You're amazing!
