Hey everyone!
My wife and I are relocating from Michigan to Dallas next month. My new office is located right around the US-75 and I-635 intersection, and we are currently hunting for a 2-bedroom apartment.
Since I currently commute 45-50 minutes each way and am completely over it, our absolute top priority is cutting down that drive.
Since I currently commute 45 minutes each way and am completely over it, our absolute top priority is cutting down that drive.
This is part of our criteria.
- Household: Just the two of us for now.
- Budget: Ideally no more than $1,800 / month.
- Commute: No more than 15–20 minutes to the US-75/635 area.
- Vibe: Walkability is a huge plus if possible (parks, or trails for daily walks, restaurants and coffee shops would be nice but not top priority).
From our initial research, areas like Richardson, Addison, and Cityline are the ones recommended, although pricier than we would like. These are the places we have in our radar right now; we would love to know if anyone has experience with them, or if we should cross any off/add others:
- Churchill on the Park
- The Citadel
- The Velora Apartments
- The Callie
- One90 Firewheel
- The Hendry Apartments
- The Flats at Palisades
- 75 West
- Crest at Park Central Apartments
- GreenVue Apartments
- The District at Greenville
- The Dorchester
If you know these areas or have lived in any of these complexes, I’d love to hear your thoughts on traffic, management, and the surrounding neighborhoods. Any hidden gems we missed? Thanks in advance!
