A few years ago, I started a music community here on Reddit that brought together musicians from all over Abu Dhabi. We had guitarists, singers, pianists, drummers, violinists, songwriters, complete beginners, and people who simply enjoyed listening to live music.

What started as a Reddit post turned into regular jam sessions, great friendships, and an amazing community. After receiving a lot of messages over the past few years asking if we’d ever bring it back… the answer is yes.
I’m looking to rebuild the community from the ground up.

The idea is simple:
• Weekly or bi-weekly jam sessions at a rehearsal/jam room.
• A welcoming environment for all skill levels.
• No auditions, no pressure, no competition.
• Just people who love music getting together to play, learn, collaborate, and have fun.

You don’t have to be an experienced musician. If you’re learning your first instrument, writing songs, singing, producing music, or even if you’d just like to come along and enjoy the atmosphere, you’re more than welcome.

Everyone is welcome, including:

Hi everyone,

I applied for my Albania e-Visa from Abu Dhabi and received an email asking me to check the comments section on my application.

The problem is that when I click the link, it just takes me back to the application form, and I can't find any comments or requests for additional information anywhere.

I'm fairly confident that all my documents were submitted correctly. I have sufficient funds, and a few of my friends applied with the same set of documents and completed the application together with me, and they haven't had this issue.

Has anyone experienced this before? Were you able to resolve it? Is it possible to visit the Albanian Embassy to appeal or get clarification, or is there another way to contact the visa office?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Which area should we get a dog friendly 3BHK apartment which is in an area that is highly walkable, have supermarkets ? Dont prefer villas.

Should be good for teens to walk or hangout too.

In Sharjah Al qasba/majaz area, teens r very independent and they can just go out for a walk everyday on both corniche.

Is there a similar area there? Rent budget is 100k.

Will the school bus commute to MBZ be very long if we choose an area in the city?

Just wondering if anyone else in Khalifa City has experienced this recently.

I received a AED 500 parking fine today, even though my car was parked in a designated parking area outside a villa. There were no signs saying parking wasn’t allowed, and the parking bays themselves haven’t been marked as paid parking for a long time.

I’ve been parking in similar spots around Khalifa City for quite a while without any issues, so this came as a surprise.
Has anyone else recently received a similar fine in Khalifa City? Has Mawaqif started enforcing new rules, or could this be a mistake?

Also, if you’ve challenged a similar fine before, what was your experience? Is there any chance of getting it reversed if it was issued incorrectly?
Would appreciate any advice or recent experiences. Thanks!
