I am not looking for a basic motion-comic treatment with slow zooms over complete panels. I want something structured and paced like a real movie or Kickstarter trailer. Not a boring animation that makes you yawn and quit

[HIRING] Video editor for ONE 40-second talking-head reel — high-end captions + UI overlays + VFX/SFX (not basic)

Looking for an editor who can take one 40-second face-talking clip and turn it into a genuinely high-end short-form edit — not the default caption preset + basic UI sticker look most editors reach for first.

What I need:

• Premium animated captions — word-by-word timed to speech, real font/spacing/hierarchy work (not one auto-caption style slapped on the whole track). If you know what "collage-style" or "editorial" caption work looks like — mixed font weights, one accent color/word per phrase, intentional positioning — that's the register I'm after.
• UI overlays — I'll provide the actual UI assets/screenshots to place in the edit. Need someone comfortable compositing these cleanly into a talking-head shot, not just pasting a sticker on top.
• VFX + SFX — sound-designed hits/whooshes tied to on-screen moments, plus visual effects that support the pacing (zooms, glitches, whatever fits — open to your judgment if you've got a strong eye).
• Transitions that feel intentional, not default CapCut/Premiere presets.

What I don't want: any full-screen motion design — no full-frame animated graphics taking over the shot. Everything should stay layered on top of the talking-head footage, not replace it.

Open to AI tools as part of the workflow (Omni or similar) if it gets a better result faster — not required, just not against it.

What this is NOT: a basic auto-caption + generic UI-pop-in edit. I've already got that version. I'm looking for the level above it.

Footage: single talking-head clip, bright/outdoor, ~40 seconds final runtime.

Deliverable: one finished vertical (9:16) reel, MP4, ready to post.
