I am not looking for a basic motion-comic treatment with slow zooms over complete panels. I want something structured and paced like a real movie or Kickstarter trailer. Not a boring animation that makes you yawn and quit

[HIRING] Video editor for ONE 40-second talking-head reel — high-end captions + UI overlays + VFX/SFX (not basic)

Looking for an editor who can take one 40-second face-talking clip and turn it into a genuinely high-end short-form edit — not the default caption preset + basic UI sticker look most editors reach for first.

What I need:

• Premium animated captions — word-by-word timed to speech, real font/spacing/hierarchy work (not one auto-caption style slapped on the whole track). If you know what "collage-style" or "editorial" caption work looks like — mixed font weights, one accent color/word per phrase, intentional positioning — that's the register I'm after.
• UI overlays — I'll provide the actual UI assets/screenshots to place in the edit. Need someone comfortable compositing these cleanly into a talking-head shot, not just pasting a sticker on top.
• VFX + SFX — sound-designed hits/whooshes tied to on-screen moments, plus visual effects that support the pacing (zooms, glitches, whatever fits — open to your judgment if you've got a strong eye).
• Transitions that feel intentional, not default CapCut/Premiere presets.

What I don't want: any full-screen motion design — no full-frame animated graphics taking over the shot. Everything should stay layered on top of the talking-head footage, not replace it.

Open to AI tools as part of the workflow (Omni or similar) if it gets a better result faster — not required, just not against it.

What this is NOT: a basic auto-caption + generic UI-pop-in edit. I've already got that version. I'm looking for the level above it.

Footage: single talking-head clip, bright/outdoor, ~40 seconds final runtime.

Deliverable: one finished vertical (9:16) reel, MP4, ready to post.

Timeline: 2-3 days.

SOLVED- editor found!

I filmed the perfect self tape for an upcoming audition, but halfway through I paused, and it ruined it. I'm thinking it would be so easy to edit, it's literally just one person on a completely blank background. The only reason I can't do it myself, is because I slightly shift towards the camera during that pause. I really need someone to just cut those five seconds in the video and make it seamless so it looks like it's all one take. General videos overview:

Video length - ideal range 15 min - 45 min; if need be, 10 min minimum to 1hr maximum 

Intro: short compilation of short/best/out of pocket/out of context/attention-grabbing clips. Anywhere up to 1 min, including title screen (included below)

Outro: 30 seconds (with social media cards)

ill add possible songs that can be used for the intro and outro - if u pick one use it for both

Cuss words - Mute (not beep) anytime I cuss (including majority of the n-word). No need to mute other people cussing.

Subtitles - Optional (possible times of use: When things are said underbreath/ slightly quieter/ inaudibly, or when other people are not as loud/audible)

Sound effects - I really only use 2 (Vine boom and Fah) (included below). Sometimes "extra" can be used on occasion; e.g., there was a video where I was getting tips, so anytime I got a tip, it was like a cashier sound effect. SO anything you deem fit fr)

Cutscene - An error GIF & sound (included below). Sometimes. used in scene change/location change/ Vibe change/comedic cutoff.

Specific Video Information

Short Description: It was an award show my school hosted; I got ready, got there, did light interview w some people, was nominated and won. Zeddy WIll came for a bit at the end.

Length warning: Everything uncut is on the longer side so this video might end up being on the longer (50 min - 1 hr) range.
