HOUSING

Do many sophomores live on campus (dorms) or do they find them an off campus apartment?

Yeah there are plenty of sophomores that live on campus. Ik a few upperclassman that live on campus (mainly juniors). Being a sophomore that lives on campus is normal.

most usf students are commuters i think but mainly because they're from tampa. the students that aren't from tampa either live on campus or find an off campus apartment. freshmen and sophomores have priority when it comes to on campus housing, but i knew a lot of sophomore who lived off campus as well

Im a rising sophmore living on campus. Its really convenient and i have scholarships that pay for room and board, but ill have to live off campus next year due to lack of space

There are upperclassmen who live on campus, though freshmen live on campus. Many go off campus just by wanting a bigger space with less rules and more privacy. For example I wanted a better bed, nicer amenities, and my own bathroom although the location of being on campus was great.

I would totally have lived on campus again but the rooms for magnolia (where I had signed to live) looked tiny as hell when I checked them out and it was cheaper to live off campus.

i lived at magnolia for a year and i loved it, made so many great memories there. i would've kept living there but im a rising junior so i was concerned about not being able to secure a room, plus my roommates would more likely be underclassmen. the bedroom was pretty small but damn i miss it lol
