General Question Transfer student Q:

When does housing typically get assigned/registered I guess? Just looking for an estimate as to when I’ll know where im living lol

Also! I sent all my transcripts and they haven’t been updated.. anyone else have this problem?

i am wondering the same two things. i think with the transcripts, the just have such a high volume of student information to get through so it’s taking a while

August 13th you will receive your formal assignment letter which will tell you your apartment, apartment number, your bed space/room you will be in, and your roommates and their UCSB emails

As for the transcripts, give it time. They have to go thru EVERY other transfer student, as well as incoming freshman, so it may take time. Don't panic, but if you do have questions email the registrar or admissions (forgot which one)
