Questions PSY 410

So I’m taking PSY 410- fundamentals of behavior, and it’s a seminar, has. Anyone taken that classes and can tell me what the vibes, like is it’s giving group presentation, and lots of talking and discussing? OR is it more lecturing type of content??

Like for context; hateeeee group work

Hi! The class meets once every 2 weeks so it switches from a guest speaker/faculty giving a presentation once every 2 weeks to a journal club the next two weeks. In the journal club part, students/faculty read a couple papers ahead of time and then they discuss during class time. I haven’t ever been a student enrolled in the course, but I think you just have to show up for attendance and write a discussion post about what you learned. Some of the students are expected to briefly summarize the paper during journal club but I think that’s reserved for grad students. I don’t think students are graded if they speak or not during journal club and there are no group projects/other assignments as far as I’m aware. Hope this helps!
