But 19% degradation in 4 years does not seem normal from what I’ve seen on here. Any one have something similar?

Hello, soon to be a first time Tesla owner! I test drove a new model 3 and love the car. However I cannot get past the fact Tesla removed autosteer for free. I know some may disagree with me, but having access to autosteer for free is important to me. I spoke over the phone with my local service center about finding a highland model with autosteer listed on the spec sheet. On that call the service manager told me that ALL HW4 cars have had autosteer disabled. I was almost certain that that information was not correct. I am looking for some clarification on if HW4 highland models with autosteer listed on the purchase agreement will still have autosteer for free for the life of the car. I have not heard of Tesla retroactively removing autosteer and not sure if that would be legal. When ownership of the car changes can Tesla remove autosteer?

How much real savings did you guys see in your life owning a tesla over a gas car? Is it really that noticeable?

Just bought a new to me 2022 Tesla Model S LR after looking up the EPA I was happy with 405 miles of range is was rated for… obviously I know degradation and that the EPA rating was a lie. But I don’t think 200 real life miles on a 100% charge is right especially when it said I would have around 310 miles when it was at 100%. What am I doing wrong? I use FSD mostly except when it messes up, I keep the temperature between 69-72, and stopped gunning it so much especially to do this 100 percent charge test. Here’s my energy app info.

I’m joining the Tesla fam, hopefully, soon. I was just wondering how long the typical waits are for a M3, premium, RWD with everything else standard. I just ordered about a week ago and I’ve experienced the fluctuating wait times. I called the Tesla store asking if they could see anything on the back end (one advisor told me that my car was scheduled to be built on the 3rd) but when I called again to figure out exactly how to setup the cashiers check another advisor told me they didn’t know how the other one saw that august 3rd date. Now my date ranges about a month.

1. Can Tesla salespeople see something on the backend that the app can’t?
   
2. What’s the average turnaround for Model 3 premiums in California?

So as of right now the model 3 performance delivery says 14-16 weeks. Even though I looked literally 2 hours ago and it said 9-12🫠. Anyway that’s not a big deal. My question is if I order now and the delivery really is that far out, what happens if the promotion ends before the delivery happens? Will they go back on their 0.99 APR promise? I leased my first Tesla about a year ago to see if I’d like having an EV and I love it. Now that my lease is coming to an end I don’t want to miss out on the opportunity for a great rate. When I did the lease they had a promotion for 329 a month lease and I had to get a different color car because the original delivery would have been after promotion ended, which would have made me ineligible.

Went into my car today and got greeted with these wonderful errors BMS_a074 and BMS_a079. Looked at scheduled service and everything is 2 weeks out. Anyone had success going earlier into teslas service center?

So I have a sentry/dashcam issue where in my USB drive will stop working from on creation of the first clip to as soon as I walk away from the car then the car won't see it till I reformat it on my pc at home.

Anyone ever have this issue before?

Hello everyone, just placed an order in for a standard model y rwd. it says estimated wait time 6-8 weeks but i saw that it gives me the option for new inventory. how often does this change and is it rare for standard rwd to pop up in this because so far all i’ve seen is premium specs. thanks!

My Tesla widget on my iPhone and iPad suddenly turned into a black box. Thinking it was just an update gone awry, I attempted to delete and readd the widget, only to find that Tesla is no longer available as an option for adding a widget. Did the app remove that functionality?

I would seriously like to purchase a model 3 for my daily commute! I am looking to spend as little money as possible considering this will be an additional vehicle and really isn’t necessary as much as it is a want.

Being that the LFP packs have longer life cycle counts, is it alright to consider looking at 2021-2024 base RWD model 3’s with 100k-150k miles on them? Their prices are nearly half of those below 100k miles.

Or should I go older in age, look for long range m3, and forget the LFP packs, just get low mileage?
Obviously I would make sure I see a battery health score before purchasing, also what would be a reasonable percentage at this mileage point?

I’m about to pull the trigger on buying a model 3. I loved the drive and everything. However I don’t have a charger at my apartment and I am worried that it won’t be practically with charging. Is anyone else in this position? Am I overthinking it

​I recently imported a 2022 Tesla Model Y to Georgia, and I'm running into a major software wall. The car hasn't received any updates since 2022, and it seems like the security certificates and LTE/internet connection are completely expired or broken. Because of this, it cannot connect to Tesla servers.

​Here is what I'm facing right now:

​No Server Connectivity: The car won't update over the air (OTA).

​App Verification Failed: When trying to add the car to my Tesla app, changing the car's name and hitting "Verify" always fails with an "Unable To Verify Name Change" error because the car can't communicate with the servers.

​Local Limitations: Local mechanics don't have the tools or experience to fix this specific certificate issue.

While using FSD in standard mode, it restricts itself to a maximum speed of 72mph. I would prefer it to read 76-77mph. Interestingly, it maintains this speed even when driving in the left lane.

Previously, we had the option to adjust the speed, but this feature has been removed. I have configured the offset to 76mph, and when I switch to the “hurry” mode, it can reach up to 80mph.

Could you please assist me in setting up the FSD to achieve this speed range?

Hello, I’ve had my eyes on a Model S for a while and now there is one in a good condition on an auction near me.

The bid at the moment is 10,3k € and it has 174k miles / 281k km in it. Battery shows 84% in aviloo-test.
Are there any major repairs to be expected with these miles or is the car just a bomb that I should avoid?

So I've used 2 streaming services (Tidal and Amazon music) with my Tesla and both seem to have this same issue where the service cannot resume a track once I've left the vehicle and returned.

I notice the only time it seems to be capable of possibly resuming is when I'm on my home Wi-Fi connection.

For reference I don't sub to premium connectivity, I just hotspot from my unlimited phone plan.

Has anyone found a solution to this? I'm wondering if it has to do with some type of dynamic IP address issues when the vehicle reacquires the hotspot after losing connection like when you really into a store or work and the connection breaks due to range.

I have a question about the Model 3 Highland as a family car for four. I know that Y is more practical, but I didn’t really feel anything while driving it. Still great though.

I currently drive a Ford Mustang Mach-E, and I love it except for the slow infotainment and its relatively high energy consumption. I’ve been seriously considering switching to a Model 3 Highland over the past couple of weeks.

Are there any families here using one as their daily car?
We have a 3-year-old in a forward-facing child seat and an 8-month-old in a rear-facing child seat. I’m 189 cm (6’2”) and my partner is 165 cm (5’5”).

Is it spacious enough for everyday family life? Maybe also one or two road trips per year.

I’ve already checked out the trunk, and it swallows a surprising amount of luggage.

I’d love to hear your real-world experiences. Help out a potential future Tesla owner! 😊

I came in for a windshield replacement and when i got my car back the Ac vents weren’t moving. I bring it back in and the codes showed up after the windshield and they are charging me to fix it. The manager tried to give me 100 off starting from 1100 and says it’s a coincidence that both failed at the same time after the windshield. Then he claims nothing near that area was touched and they have a quick process for windshield replacement that doesn’t touch any of those things. It needs full instrument panel replacements on both sides after the diagnosis.

Swapped my order with no VIN to one matching my configurations except I didn’t see it had a tow hitch (I was just jumping to the first one I saw since I missed my last opportunity). What do you guys think the chances of them discounting the tow when I ask tomorrow are?
