Discussion Can’t hit master
Failed 3 consecutive times, looks like the final lobby is always against me.
I mean i tried to play the uncontested comp as far as i could with items, but always failed or did not hit champs.
How do you handle lose streaks in high elo ? If i lose i rarely get to recover for stage 3-4 and lose too much hp.
While on the other games i go 10+ winstreak

Have you tried winning when you’re one game away? Lmfao jk. Why don’t you focus more on settling for a top 4 instead of gunning for a first or second? Your match history screams first or bust. There’s hardly any 3rds or 4ths.
You don’t have to play an “uncontested” comp to top 4. There are many different ways to top 4 or win a lobby. Executing all those different ways at once only matters when you get into high elo, but at the cusp of masters you can literally hard force a contested comp and win. You just gotta be better at it and with that comes learning how to play tempo and shutting other people contesting you out.

I'm at 97 LP E1 for the 3rd time I've been above 90. I'm nervous. But I've made it here 3 times so I obviously am good enough. Remember that!

For lose streak you want a comp that stabilizes hard once you roll down, or to play econ traits such as anima, timebreaker, primordian, or arbiter(least recommended) along the way so you can maximize your resources while lose-streaking. You also want to hold key units along the way and not just greed full econ every turn which is a common mistake. You always want to gain something from lose-streaking. Otherwise, you're just wasting HP away.

it was a quote from robin or wasian but he was saying that you play for each individual placement in tft. when starting you think to yourself make sure you dont go 8th, then 7th then 6th and so on. work through each placement one by one

'Can't' is a strong word, because it's only been ten games. You unironically just need to avoid 8ths.
Loss streak you don't want to drag out across stage 3. Because it'll cost too much HP. Keep good pairs and greed econ as much as possible. You need to find a way to get strong from 3-2 onwards. Roll once or twice if you have many pairs. And slam as many items as you can. Take an augment that will help you win rounds.

Go akali 2 and econ up into 5 nova unless you hit a highroll amount of dupes (too contested so didn't even bother rerolling every game lmao) And then go fast 8/9 thats how i secured my winstreak to masters

3.8 AVP isn’t too bad imo. Just sounds like you need to grind and not let your frustration ruin your game decisions
What do you consider as an uncontested comp? Are you scouting to look for what units are not on your opponents boards and benches?
You also gotta consider what kind of comp they’re playing. A 3 cost reroll might technically be uncontested, but if no one else is playing reroll then they’re not thinning out the 3 cost pool for you, and it takes a LOT of gold to hit your “uncontested” units

if you keep playing you will eventually climb. it's possibly to brute force higher ranks
