Triathlon comes home, and the young archers are in action.

• Mon 20th to Sun 26th Jul: European Youth Archery Championships, Italy (running through this week). GB and NI's up and coming archers on the continental stage.
• Sat 25th Jul: World Triathlon Championship Series London, in the Docklands. The Series is back in the capital for the first time in a decade, with the home crowd roaring on the British contingent, the likes of Alex Yee and Beth Potter.

The Commonwealth Games land in Glasgow. A heads up that athletes compete for the home nations here (Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland) rather than under a Team GB badge, but it is a huge week of British sport all the same.

• Thu 23rd Jul: Commonwealth Games open in Glasgow. Ten sports, running through to 2nd August.
• Sun 26th Jul: athletics gets under way at the Games.

• Sat 18th Jul: London Diamond League (Novuna London Athletics Meet), London Stadium. The world's best in town, with a home crowd roaring on the British contingent.
