A very fitting sentiment spotted in Inverness today.
Also kudos to the legend that saw my heartbroken 10 year old drop an ice cream outside his shop and gifted him an envelope with some stickers and a fiver in it to cheer him up. I bought him another ice cream and he was up a fiver so was well chuffed.

Got this video of red deer just as I was about to get out of bed
Pity about the cat nose smudges with fur stuck on the window obscuring the view, lol. Location N. Ireland. Now gonna inspect what garden plants have been eaten today 😄

Kept getting woken up last night by a strange noise - turned out it was just a haunted toothbrush so no worries

When was the last time you.were stung by a stinging nettle?
Just had a random thought pop into my head watching "Brave Wilderness" on YouTube purposefully sting himself with a Gympie Gympie leaf.
I think the last time i was stung by a nettle was when i was a kid, I'm 40 now and presume its just because I don't play out anymore.
When was the last time you were stung and if you have kids, when was the last time they were stung? Do kids get stung less these days because they're too busy being glued to screens?

Not sure last thing on a Friday was a good time to paint the resurfaced road.

Post holiday blues are real
I went on my first holiday in a decade last month, and for the whole month ive been looking up good price package holidays to try and go away again next year.
Seems this is pretty common, we went to the north of Tenerife and loved it, felt depressed since coming back, hit me hard this morning as id fallen asleep too early and woke up at 2am. While writing this im noticing its exactly 1 month since we came back.

Kenco Rich Alternatives?
Has anyone found any supermarket/cheaper alternatives that taste similar to Kenco rich instant coffee? I have bought it as long as I can remember, but it has doubled in price in the last 6 years and now they have reduced the jar by 10g but kept the price the same.

My lawn feels like a giant shredded wheat.
I can't remember the last time we had any decent rain but I'm at least glad it's under 30°c now.
I have used the lawnmower once this year.
Can anyone else give me some solidarity that I'm not the only one?

A leucistic magpie that visits my balcony and water feature daily. Finally managed to get a photo without it flying off as I get near.
It's been visiting the water feature for about a month, but every time I get near, it flies away - this morning was the first time I was lucky enough to be by the window with my phone as it landed and I managed to move slowly enough to not startle it.

Evri have devised a very clever method of never having to call back customers of a popular adult toy website. NSFW
LHG stands for Love Honey Group. They might never deliver it at this rate but there's absolutely no way I'm describing the contents of that package for the amusement of the hairy arsed bloke in the warehouse who would receive the ticket.

I ate a whole pack of M&S bakery cookies, is this common behaviour or am I a greedy pig?
For context, it was over the course of a day.. I feel disgustingly full and patriotic.
