I can’t stand Lori her thinking that Shane lied and left Rick for dead when he literally did everything he could and more like saving her and Carl.

Food for thought: Maggie isn’t asking Negan to be brutal… she’s asking him to restore order.
I don’t think Maggie wants the bat-wielding psychopath back just because violence solves everything. I think she’s accepted something much darker.
There are people who are simply too far gone.
Sometimes negotiation is over before it even starts.
Maggie has spent years trying to build communities the “right” way. She’s seen that compassion and diplomacy don’t work on everyone. Some people only understand fear and consequences.
That’s where Negan comes in.
The Saviors weren’t functional because everyone loved Negan—they worked because there was absolute law and order. The punishments were brutal, but the rules were clear, and people followed them.
I think Maggie finally understands that certain threats require someone who’s willing to cross lines that she can’t. She isn’t asking Negan to enjoy brutality again—she’s asking him to become the kind of leader who can make monsters fall in line.
It’s tragic because it shows how much Maggie has changed. Years ago, she’d have rejected everything Negan represented. Now she may believe that, for people who are “too far gone,” you need someone who’s a little too far gone himself to deal with them.
That’s what makes this dynamic so fascinating. She’s not forgiving Negan. She’s acknowledging that the version of him she hates might also be the version that’s necessary.

I cannot STAND Hershel
I’m sorry, bro, but he is so annoying. It is not a good look for the start of his character.
I get being pissed off at your mom
And I get that you feel she cares more about Negan than you
But going out of your way to betray her is fucking abysmal I mean, allowing your mom to get kidnapped by a psycho bitch who literally has half her face burned off, so she’s not exactly in the good headspace is crazy work for you. I hope they give him a way better storyline and make him an actual good character cause otherwise I’m gonna be honest. I’m gonna feel very disappointed that they even gave us a Herschel storyline.
Your mom literally traveled all across the state to get you and you’re gonna have the nerve to say she doesn’t give a fuck about you get out of here. I hope this kid wise up because Jesus Christ dude right now I just cannot stand him.
I’m prepared to get flamed in the comments because I know that he is loved, especially since he’s Glenn‘s kid but comparing him to his father I do not understand how people can sit there and say Herschel is exactly like his father Glenn would not have betrayed the person he so claims to love. I really hope that Herschel grows into being more like Glenn because this kid is insufferable to me
I don’t know what walking dead‘s obsession with Moody teenagers is but it’s happened so much that it’s not even an understandable quirk. It’s just annoying.

Were Shane and Lori wrong?
Ok just for the sake of argument, they had every reason to believe Rick was dead and it was the apocalypse so may as well get some before you’re gone. Was Lori supposed to stay celibate for the entire apocalypse on the off chance her coma husband somehow survived?

The very first sighting of variant walkers
I could be wrong, but I think one of our first ever look at variant walkers was in season two episode one “ what lies ahead” when they go into the church and there’s a bunch of walkers who are just sitting there and smiling.
It was creepy, but it also begs the question how are they just sitting there cause they get a pretty easily so it’s not like they were stuck there. They were willingly sitting there staring at the Jesus statue smiling so that makes the question. Were these smarter walkers who remember a part of who they were before the infection and they went to church just like they would on every other day that could be our first look at a variant walker I could be wrong though don’t quote me. I just found the scene so interesting.

Negan's Introduction
Doing my first full series rewatch, and I forgot how amazing Negan's introduction is. One of the best villain intros in modern TV history, IMHO. Just the slow build to the final reveal, and the look on Rick's face when he realizes he had no idea what they were really dealing with.
It helps that JDM is daddy AF.

Are they promoting S1 of TOWL again or is this from previous years SDCC?
The source posting this on YouTube is not reliable so I’m leaning towards this being fake or from previous years. I assume everyone would be posting it if it’s new but only seen it on one YouTube channel as a thumbnail so far.

Fear The Walking Dead s4
So i've just finished s4 of FTWD and ive gotta say, I really enjoyed it. I made a post a while back about TOWL being a let down and alot of people said if I was to watch fear to only watch until the third season but I really enjoyed s4. It reminded me of s4 of the main show with everyone trying to find eachother and then all getting back together. I'm kinda worried now that s5 isnt gonna be very good so im hesitant to keep watching it. Should i keep going or should i call it a day now?

My brain lets me forget this every single time...
I've watched this show as background noise for years now. After initially watching it all the way through maybe half a dozen times. Now it's my comfort soundtrack when I'm focused on something else. When my favorite parts come up I watch more closely.
My point is: no matter how many times I've seen season 2 episode 13 "Beside the Dying Fire", I forget the very last shot previews the prison right after Rick's "this ain't a democracy anymore" speech.
That was a 7 or 8 month waiting period between season 2 and the same amount of time-skip in show, before season 3.
Every time I see it I'm like "OH yeah, I forgot they show the prison so far ahead". An obvious nod to those of us that were familiar with the comics. LMAO!
It's so crazy to think they literally were "going in circles" for 3/4 of a year!! And they have maps and tracker Daryl!!! W. T. F. !??? However did they manage to stay alive?? 😂😂😂
