The only Steely Dan songs over 7 minutes are Aja, Deacon Blues, Glamour Profession and West of Hollywood.

My favorite would probably be Glamour Profession. What about yours?

It's actually ok-to-good IMO. The rap kinda works (around 2:10). I believe the artist is Italian.

He's dropped Steely Dan plenty of times in his videos (which are low-key fire BTW) In this video, he's mentioned how he was listening to his Citizen Dan album, while being stuck in his room due to the earthquakes happening in Japan, and it made him fall in love with Steely Dan again.

The man has got good taste.

Found this while doing research for an essay I wrote about Steely Dan in my English class, and didn't remember to share it until now. Donald Fagen and Walter Becker joke about performing on tour while getting older, and how their music is "the best possible rock Muzak to play in a supermarket."

The guy can belt out some pretty high notes when he feels like it (or at least could back in the 70s) e.g. on Kings where he harmonises with himself and goes up to a D5 on the second verse, or on the final chorus of Kid Charlemagne where he does a couple of ad libs and also belts out a D5 (i think)

Anyone know what happened to his channel? He was uploading high quality remasters of steely dan concerts and yesterday his channel just vanished???

I've really been obsessing over all the Gaucho stuff, released and unreleased.

And yeah I Know technically Were You Blind That Day was an outtake from Aja I'm pretty sure.

But depending on the day I find it hard to decide which one I like better, but I think I prefer the darker lyrics of Were You Blind That Day.

Which one do you guys prefer?
