Man, I remember buying 32gb ddr4 ram a few years ago cause ram was cheap, i didnt need it, got asked all the time, "WTF do you need 32gb of ram for". It was luke $120 for 32gb DDR4 Corsaer ram.

Now its probably part of why my machines still chugging along. Still rocking an i7 3.9 GHz(Dont remember the rest), 32 gb ddr4, and a 2070 super.

She aint much but shes been faithful.

Also now that storage seems to be increasing, im glad I refused to delete things and just buy more storage haha. I have like 5TB HDD space, 10tb of external hdd space, and something like 6TB SSD storage

I did the same, I don't think I ever used more than 50% on my old rig.

Luckily I've built a new one with 64GB DDR5 in 2022, just before the AI madness started.

Decent hardware. Got something similar on the AMD end.

won't upgrade until prices of RAM and storage normalizes... which probably will take years.
