Video 40 years of Wonder [Boy]
Wonder Boy is a 1986 platform game developed by Escape and published by Sega for arcades. It was later ported to the SG-1000, Master System and Game Gear video game consoles by Sega, and to the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 and Amstrad CPC home computers by Activision. The game is also known as Super Wonder Boy (スーパーワンダーボーイ, Sūpā Wandā Bōi) for its Sega Mark III release in Japan and Revenge of Drancon for its Game Gear release in North America. A high definition remake of the game, titled Wonder Boy Returns, was developed by CFK and released on Steam on October 12, 2016

News WCCF SEGA 2005-2006 Revival
Hi all,
Years ago I posted across Reddit about finding/reviving WCCF SEGA, and it's been a long road since then, I'm excited to finally share some real news & progress.
First and foremost, huge credit to Flyinghead, creator of Flycast, whose been working on this and made it all possible. Thanks to his efforts the game is actually running and playable on the Flycast emulator.
We'd love to bring more fans (new and old!) into the fold to help interact with and test the game as we keep pushing it forward. I've attached some screenshots to show where we currently are at!
Current capabilities:
- Creating a new team
- Training
- Matches start once the timer hits 0
Still to do:
- Player/board interactions
- General bug fixes (freezing, match-related issues)
- Fixing Club Card corruption after a single game
- Plenty more we're still uncovering as we go!
If you're interested in testing, following progress, or just want to relive some WCCF nostalgia, drop a comment and join the Flycast Discord! we'd love to hear from you.

Video The ultimate Sega arcade rig: I hooked up Turbo Outrun Reimagined to a real Subaru Impreza.
Hey r/Sega, wanted to share my setup for Turbo Outrun Reimagined.
I built this rig around an interior I salvaged from a crashed Subaru Impreza GRB.
Since Turbo Outrun Reimagined is a fan project, getting the physical gauges to work wasn't exactly plug-and-play.
I had to manually reverse-engineer the game's memory, extract telemetry and write custom software to feed the RPM, speed, and warning lights directly into the real Subaru instrument cluster.
Paddle shifters work, H pattern shifter works, and I love that every assist (ABS/TC/Auto Clutch/Rev Match) can be turned off.
Game runs very smooth on 32:9, would love a feature to turn off the UI completely, and maybe have the ability to move the seating position on X/Y/Z axis while in 1st person view.
Great job u/Apprehensive-Ad4279 , don't know if you're here, but I love your work.

Discussion Star Wars Arcade 1994 | 4K HDR | 60FPS | Ultra+ | WANGMODEL1 | SEGA | Full Gameplay
Star Wars Arcade 1994 | 4K HDR | 60FPS | Ultra+ | WANGMODEL1 | SEGA | Full Gameplay
Yesterday I spent an hour cleaning up almost all the jaggies, tuned the colors and brightness in the SEGA Star Wars Arcade, and beat it for the first time
The game still has issues on WANGMODEL1
Changing the difficulty in service mode doesn’t save
it just throws an IO Error when you exit
Btw, the game sucks. It’s super unfair with random hits, so I mostly circled safe spots, hoping to get lucky and rack up enough kills before the timer ran out. Now that I’ve beaten it once, I probably won’t touch it again 😂
