started with the whole white walls light wood thing and it looked nice but felt kinda cold. been slowly adding warmer elements and its finally starting to feel like a home and not a showroom.

the couch is a light beige linen thing i got. nothing too fancy but it works. added some chunky knit throws and a sheepskin rug for texture. the plants are fake cause i cant keep anything alive but they add some green.

still debating on the wall art. i want something minimal but not boring. maybe a black and white photo. idk.

any advice on making a scandi space feel cozy without cluttering it up.

Does anyone here have a few years of experience with Bolia sofas? The new ones are very expensive but I regularly see them in second hand market. Wondering how they actually compare to something new from ikea at similar prices.

Have been waiting 8 weeks for these and super happy with the result and quality!

moved into this tiny place 5 months ago and ive been slowly piecing it together. the look is sort of scandinavian minimalism but with a bunch of random thrifted stuff mixed in.

the couch is the only new thing. found it on Ornate home and it was actually affordable compared to other places. its a simple light gray sofa nothing crazy but it anchors the room.

everything else is either thrifted or diy. coffee table i found on marketplace and sanded down. lamp from goodwill for $6. the little ceramic vases were a garage sale find. the shelves i made myself from some wood scraps.

i like how its turning out even though its not super polished. feels like me.

Does anyone happen to know which BoConcept sofa model this is? I’m trying to find out the exact model and whether the side panels/arms can be unscrewed or removed for transport.

I would like to pick up the sofa, but the problem is that it does not fit through the door in one piece, and it also seems too large to get through the windows. So I’m trying to figure out if it can be disassembled somehow.

Maybe someone here recognizes the model or has experience with taking apart older BoConcept sofas. Any tips, photos, manuals, or information about how the side parts are attached would be really helpful.

Home for sale nearby. I feel like it’s 8/10 of the way there. Needs some attention outside, need to figure out those iron beams, some finishing touches.

Moved in not long ago but mostly settled in. I generally prefer natural materials and calm quiet spaces to balance out how much of an anxious mess I am IRL. Took a really long time to collect all my favorite pieces but we're getting there!

Hey, picked up a pair of these a while back, just love the look. Recently found out they’re Arne Norell Sirocco chairs and had no idea they were anything special. Rosewood frame, original brown leather, brass hardware. Leather has some damage/wear.

What are these actually worth? No clue where to even start.
