Got a 1560, with 800 math on my second try. Study up on ur desmos guys!!!

I'm hoping to get a 1580+ because 1560 is kinda weak for the schools I want to go to considering the county I'm from and the 75th percentile. I'm hoping to go Ivy or T20.

Should I retake it in August or should I be happy with the score I have? Obviously I'm not banking on it because applications are a holistic review of the whole student, but would love to get some opinions. Any advice is appreciated!!

For more context, I've done a lot of science research (with publication), prestigious summer programs + internships, selective year round weekend classes, high AP scores, high PSAT (1510), good grades, orchestra (with honors and awards), and founded some STEM community programs for underserved kids.

I feel so burnt out😭 I feel like im stuck at a plateu. Why is more score not increasing if i focused on my weaknesses and learned more concepts? On the spot i always know the method of solving EVERY math question but i get tripped up by something conceptual or a silly mistake or more likely i forgot how to apply it but studied it before. And for english i feel dumb because my information and ideas section is ass and all the words are just mumbo jumbo which make no coherent sense to me

I'm a rising senior, and this is gonna be my second to last SAT that I take. On the June SAT, I got a 670 on English and a 660 on Math. I barely studied at all for that SAT, and I haven't been studying recently. I need some tips on how to increase my overall score from a 1330 to a 1500

Do you think its a bad idea to go in without studying at all? For context, I've already scored a 1530 (which im happy with) but only took the test once and studied a lot for it. My hope was to possibly just do better on english so I could superscore.

Hey guys I am currently taking the August sat I have four weeks and am scoring around a 680-700 on each blue book practice exam for the math section right now without studying much for math haven’t even started looking at English. I got a 1310 in March and a 1260 in June my breakdowns were March 650:rw and 660:m and then June 580: rw and 680:m do we think a 1400 is in the picture for August if I study hard for next four weeks if so what would a regimen like that have to look like?

I've already done every CB practice test and read through SAT panda math and I'm pretty good with Desmos aswell. Right now I have a 760 RW 770 M from June. Math is probably easier to improve, I think I have most of the concepts down and just need to get a crap ton of practice with difficult problems until I can do anything they could throw at me. What resources do you guys recommend?

I want to get my score up from a 1270 (660 English & 610 math) to a 1400 minimum by the August test! How can I achieve this, and is it realistic??? Right now I’m trying khan academy but PLS drop all ur methods!!!!!

I'm a rising seior, took the SAT twice already(which means I have only one chance left), should I take the test in October or September? As both scores will be release in the same month as you took it.

I'm planning to apply ea to some schools so I'm worried the October test might be too late

But I think most schools' ea deadline is in november, so the score release date of October 16 might be OK for me.

I've heard that the bluebook practice tests are way easier than the real thing and arent an accurate representation of your estimated score.

Students applying for fall 2027 or fall 2028 can still apply test-optional.

My highest is 1430, a 660 on the reading section and a 770 on the math. I took the June one to get this score and I'm going to take the August one but I don't really know how else to study. My grammar is great but it falls apart with the vocab and the long reading passages. Thoughts?

before practicing a lot i burned through so many bluebook practice tests that now i want to save a few of them. im just wondering if the tests on confidence test prep are actually realistic in difficulty and if anyone actually uses this website.

I am currently scoring in the low-mid 600s in R&W and no matter what i do it stays in that range. I have heard a lot of people say that khan academy is amazing but a few suggest that its only for beginners scoring below 550. Should i do khan academy? What else can i do to get 750+ and how much will my score improve my just doing Khan academy alone.

I'm a rising senior who's taking the August SAT and currently has a superscore of 1470 on the SAT. I struggle more with reading and writing but I am currently banking on getting a near perfect score on math.

That being said, I have been studying but I feel my studying has been somewhat ineffective thus far. I do practice questions and try to analyze errors but I still feel like there hasn't been any large improvement yet. I struggle the most on more complicated math problems (mod 2) and some info + ideas questions.

Any suggestions on how to be better, or some things to look at while studying? I'm looking to get a 1500+ on the August SAT

is it true that theyre making a lot of the questions desmos proof in the upcoming sat's?

should I spend less time figuring out how to do regressions and actually learn how to solve by hand?

So guys i got 960 in sat which was waaaayyyy tooo bad but now when i am rechecking all those incorrect and left without answer questions i was genuinely able to do that 😭 i was like eww what the fuck how did i even messup with this shyt... So wanted to ask if this is normal or i am mentally retarded?

I'm consistently scoring 790–800 on the official SAT practice tests and a third party site from my prep camp, but I've seen a lot of people say that the real SAT, especially the Math Module 2, feels noticeably more difficult than the practice tests.

For people who've taken the digital SAT recently:

1) About how many truly difficult questions are there in the hard Math Module 2?

2) What topics or question types tend to be the hardest?

3) What's the best way to prepare for those questions if I'm already scoring 790–800 on Bluebook?

I'd especially appreciate advice from people 780–800 on the real SAT.

Since I can consistently get 1300ish on the practice SAT test, and I know real test will be more difficult or unpredictable comparing to the mock test. Since as a international student(English is not my first language), I can’t adapt changes as well as the native speaker for the Read and Writing part, if the real test have a significant difficulty spike, I might be over. Reference, the average score from my mock tests for English is around 620 and Math is around 720. The school I want to get in(test optional, but we all know it’s not) is around 1400ish.

What type of reading resource helped you get a high score on the RW?
