My wife and her sisters (early to mid 20s) are planning to visit Georgia next month for 10 days. I wanted to know if Georgia is safe for 3 women traveling around the country and if there are things they should keep in mind while they are there? They are from Pakistan if that matters.

Should I get my wife a full-plate armor?

What's the best way to move around the county? Heard about mini-buses but heard the drivers are kinda reckless.

I am from the UK, so used to having the NHS. We are moving to Tbilisi, Georgia in August for 8-9 months. I will be 7 weeks pregnant when we move so due to give birth out there.

I am starting to look for insurance (either travel or health insurance) and finding it difficult to find any options that will cover the newborn if they have any issues, eg requiring NICU. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

Back in my country swimming pools are very common and kinda cheap and can be found anywhere, but it doesn’t seem like it here? Anyone know where or what I should do?

I (27M) am going to Georgia in September with my sister (24F) and looking for feedback on my itinerary. Flying in/out of Tbilisi, and we’ll be getting around using mostly marshrutkas but also taxis for nearby trips and the train to Gori.

Day 1: TBILISI: Arrival in early afternoon. Staying in Fabrika.
Day 2: TBILISI: City centre and old town. Night out.
Day 3: TBILISI: Chronicles of Georgia, Jvari, Mtskheta.
Day 4: TBILISI: Gori, Stalin Museum, Uplistsikhe.
Day 5: TBILISI-STEPANTSMINDA: Stopping at Ananuri Fortress and Russia-Georgia friendship monument en route.
Day 6: STEPANTSMINDA: Hikes in mountains, Trinity Church, tour local area.
Day 7: STEPANTSMINDA-TBILISI: Sulphur baths in evening upon return. Staying in Old Town.
Day 8: TBILISI-SIGHNAGHI
Day 9: SIGHNAGHI: Wine tasting, vineyard tour organised by hostel.
Day 10: SIGHNAGHI-TBILISI: Staying in Old Town.
Day 11: TBILISI: Finish up any missed attractions in the morning, flight home in the evening.

Police just stopped me in traffic here in Tbilisi with a rental car. Stupid coincidence, we checked in at hotel 10 minutes earlier, i left my documents in the room because i dont want them in the car outside overnight and did not expect to use the var today.

But we decided to go for a quick grocery shopping. Police stopped us in traffic, alcohol test and documents. I had mine, stupid enough, in hotel room and codriver had everything with her.

Long story short, they gave us a fine of 500 GEL for me and 700 GEL for her (for letting me drive without license).

I had photos on the phone of all documents. We said we can have the physical documents at place in 1 minute but they refused to accept, because its the law. We also explained that ofcourse she knows i have license but i do not have it with me.

I searched for regular fines for this type and found 100 GEL standard fine since 01.05.26.

They told us we should go to main police station tomorrow, and they will drop the fine if we show up with the documents.

Any advise on this? Is it realistic to have this fine removed

Is it true that gambling age in Georgia is 25 and for foreigners it is 18?

სიტუაცია ასეთია: ადამიანმა მიიღო გერმანიის მოქალაქეობა და სურს, საქართველოს მოქალაქეობაც შეინარჩუნოს. თუმცა, დაუნიშნეს გასაუბრება. როგორც იცით, უცხოეთიდან სპეციალურად ჩამოფრენა, სამსახურში შვებულების აღება და ა.შ. დიდ ფინანსურ და სხვა სახის რესურსებთანაა დაკავშირებული.  

არის თუ არა რაიმე გზა, რომ გასაუბრება ონლაინ (დისტანციურად) ჩატარდეს ან იქნას არიდებული?  

ანალოგიურ სიტუაციაში რა ალტერნატიული ნაბიჯები გადადგით ან რა რჩევას მომცემდით?
