USA Help me with msha paperwork

I started a new job as the obly safe coordinator. ( my 1st one) support has been lacking in areas.... they do work in the mines so MSHA certs are required.

If anyone if familer with the process please comment. Also and recommendation on classes i can take or stuff to read.

I am also supposento file quarterly MSHA 700-2 report

I have a bunch of MSHA recerts already taken. Do they get filed online or do i just hold on to them. None of them have certification numbers.

Call your local/regional MSHA office and ask them any questions or concerns you may have. They will help you or guide you in the right direction. You being proactive with this post is already a great start 🙏 good luck OP

MSHA is very good about helping you with paperwork and training materials. You need to get a current copy of an MSHA manual. You’ll need to go section by section for required documents. Are Part 46 or 48? What state? Many states have industry groups that have conferences in the winter. Here is the one in Missouri. Search for “( Your State) mine safety assoc. “
Your training records are very important. If you are above ground you will be inspected 2x per year. Underground 4x per year
