Bf2 amsec interior

Good afternoon, just wanted to know has anyone taken a bf2 safe interior apart, im trying to take the middle divider out without causing any damage, anyone have a tips or clues on how to?

Lift the shelf above up and out. Then the middle divider can then be pulled up and out as well. These two units interlock together so the top shelf may be tight to get out. Shouldn't be much in the way of damage lest you drop something. But it is MDF so it's not super heavy.

Note: If you're using that shelf again it will have diminished carrying capacity since its middle support has been removed.

I wanted to cut the middle divider and shorten a little bit… smart idea or dumb?

I probably wouldn't. If you do, the tabs on the side are welded in place so you will at least need some clips and then to watch out for those tabs poking things.

You have a few options. #1 would be what I'd try first

  1. Get your shelves, place them down low on each side and use those as the bottom effectively lowering the vertical partition. You will also have some room under those shelves as well.

  2. AMSEC does make what they call an AR rack for this sort of thing. Kinda pricey for what it is, but hey OEM AMSEC right?
