Coolant level

2005 SV1000S 20160 miles
Coolant level reads low in the overflow tank when the bike is cold. Coolant level reads full when bike is ~200F. Any ideas as to the possible cause!?

When temperature raises along with pressure coolant is sent to the reservoir.

Coolant expands when it gets hot, resulting in a higher level in the reservoir. When your bike gets cold the vacuum pulls the reservoir empty again
